there are also block to the A B and C f35 block 1,2,3,4 witch are very diffrent at least in real life
even the first version of the f22 had aim 9x it got into service at the same time as the F22
For most nations there are no different variants of the F-35
all of these upgrades are small besides the f35 block 4 with is a major upgrade that only the us and italy has
The F-22 did not have AIM-9Xs when it entered service.
Any update on the CS/SA5? Will it recieve the APFSDS it has in real life?
i know but it had a year or something later when it entered service the aim 9x was still in testing
- i dont think they are goint to add an f22 with Aim-9Ms maybe the Aim-9M-8 but not probable
Nothing of that is modelled ingame
No news but probly no
Towed decoys are gonna be in the game soon for sure since the eurofighter and a lot of new fighters have it
EW jamming its not likely because its super classified
lol
lmao even
If you don’t think it’s coming, then why even list the point of the F-35 not having jamming capabilities?
It will get whatever is top tier. ASRAAM entered service in 1998 and the Typhoon F2 entered service in 2003. Suffice to say by 2008+ when the FGR4 entered service it 100% never used Aim-9. I dont think any Typhoon prior to the early DA prototypes used Aim-9
I just said its a thing War Thunder has added a lot of new mechanics so who knows
Tornado F3 could have gotten TRD 3 years ago, it will come when it comes. Same with ECM. Tornado IDS had one of the best ECM of the era
because it wouldn’t benifit US and USSR aircraft
Older ECM was not that efective against air targets witch if added will probl be the main point of it becouse modern ground radars are use too high of a voltage to be jammed anyway it whould just decrese the range a bit
True lol
Is any other historical map in War Thunder scaled down? I can’t recall ever hearing about this.
You can’t mess with the scale, it wouldn’t be the Falklands anymore if you did. It’d be some other place
Tornado IDS Sky Shadow as very effective at evading US CAP during exercises
