Instead of adding the turret basket change, something like a bustle door malfunction would probably make more sense or both idk.

People wanted realistic internal modules such as autoloaders and smaller subsystems. Now when people have to deal with it they don’t want it.

modeling a complex mechanical system that is quite vulnerable to get destroyed fairly easily is different than modeling a piece of metal meant to stop the crew from getting their arms torn off (basically just a guard rail for the turret) to completely stop the turret from turning when hit.
