You don’t get it, the kinetic penetrators are covered in a special chemical that dissolves the composite
It’s funny how, in War Thunder, T-72A 1983 literally has better armor than M1A2 SEPv2 2008 xD
M1, IPM1, M1A1, M1A1 HC and M1A2 are correctly depicted in War Thunder;
Issue comes with M1A2 SEP, M1A2 SEPv2 and M1A1 AIM.

There won’t be any major developments anytime soon. But at some stage, yes.

The values in game are well within reason. Naturally not everything will be 100% accurate due to classified docs and such.

They use their own armor values that they got from some internally developed calculator system
Chances are they already know about these “inconsistencies” and simply choose to ignore them for “balance reasons”

Yeah. The tank’s interior is so incredibly cramped, and the turret ring so exposed and vulnerable, that the basket really won’t change at all. If anyhting, hopefully, may eat some spall if they polished it (hopefully).
