Even before that. Besides Europe “we want our own, domestic 4th gen!” it basically boils down to F-16 and Su-30

F-2, J-10, later F-15I have also been changed quite a bit.

Really wish Japan put there X-2 into service as a production fighter at least that would of gave them a unique gen 5 but oh well its basically Japans EAP 😆

Can we have this issue expedited?

Depending on how effective stealth ends up being either next to nobody or nobody at all would try to engage a F-22 in BVR and I am fairly confident that both the Eurofighter and Rafale would beat the F-22 in WVR.
And as soon as IIR missiles arrive the F-22 wouldn’t stand a chance anymore.

F-22 might be able to fit spectral flares. So it would have a shot at surviving that.

5th page of this topic is here

Stuka will be able to carry 1,800 kg bomb after this update lol

Even if they buffed its radar I do not think its all that crazy at 13.7 nor do I think it would be the 4th best 14.0 I would put the F/A-18C, Rafale, EF, F-15E/I, and Su-30SM ahead of it

Which is still just going to be copy-paste for everyone that isn’t US and China.

Yup and it will be funny as hell to drop those on unsuspecting tanks

Who makes them first defines what a gen 6 is, but what seems to be universally agreed on is that: it is AI assisted, optionally unmanned, re-focused on high-alt high-speed, huge ranges, most likely twin-seater

optionally unmanned, but also twin-seater lol

UAV intergration is likely the key improvement over gen 5, plus reorienting towards higher combat altitudes and higher speed, providing their weaponries more energy, and supporting gen 4/5 combat from a very long range
Hence optionally unmanned, it can be an UAV itself

Putting the J-11B to 13.7 is no different than putting Rafale to 13.7

Oh, and the F-15E/C are slightly inferior to the J-11B at this time. [You forgot to put C in your post despite it being identical to the F-15E outside acceleration.]

Sure, it just seems contradictory to design something with the goal of it being optionally unmanned while also planning a second seat.
I would expect them to rather do the usual and have both a single-seat and a twin-seat variant with the single-seat variant being the basis for the unmanned variant.

The only reason they would use the same plane both in a manned and unmanned configuration is to reduce development time and cost anyways. To me it seems more likely that they either go full on unmanned or go with the manned-unmanned teaming concept rather than using bigger, more expensive airframes as drones.

Not having to plan in a cockpit and everything the pilots would require means you can make the vehicle cheaper and smaller.

What are you on about bro I would put it about on par with the F-15C when I played it on the dev server it is not that good nor is it equal to any of the 14.0s other than the F-18C in the swedish tree which itself should be 13.7

Glad you’d put it on par with F-15E/C and admits that they should be 14.0, and the Swedish F-18C is literally the same air to air.

The fact F-15C isn’t with its equals is disgusting. American mains keeping that jet OP is annoying.

Putting unmanned gen 6s are likely to be an reserve option, in an optimal condition, dedicated loyal wingman operated from WSO/RIO would be the main UAV element of a modern air force. Valkyries or anjian etc.
