Yes, I have. The radar of the J-11B is amazing.
J-11B is the 4th best 14.0 in the game, and it sits at 13.7.

Only thing is the incomplete radar, everything else lives up to 14.0 standard. Although that said, 4th best 14.0 is pretty vain, there are only 4 other 14.0s anyways, if the radar is fixed, only thing halting it is PL12.

And the radar placeholder has a narrow search mode with more datalink channels than radar missiles, which is all I ask for in a placeholder.
The placeholder radar is meta in its current state.

No I am talking about the range, 50km is a bit annoying in big maps for situation awareness and BVR.

I would so love the Greek A7 with all its upgrades. Despite it’s nickname the SLUF is a beauty, and I think would provide a nice alternative to the A-10

mfw j11b is 13.7 for some reason yet hornet still sits at 14.0.

i think they will drop the update in 5 days

All I can think of is different blocks of F16, that F15 prototype with the funny nozzles and the canards, or a subtree getting something equivalent or the same.

Hopefully, the update arrives on Tuesday the 18th.

That would leave us with just over two weeks to prepare for April Fools. I can’t help but wonder what surprises are in store this year.

I’m more thrilled about April Fools than this upcoming patch!

Getting a vehicle last patch shouldn’t preclude any nation from getting one the next, period. China especially. When we have an abundance of domestic vehicles left to add both in air and ground. By abundance, I mean it. Possibly the most amount of 4th gens (not counting insignificant ones like J-11BH) left to add out of any nation.

In a dogfight it’s fairly even. In a BVR fight the raptor is cleaning the floor with the Eurofighter

I don’t mind this tbh. They can add some of the testbeds and prototypes which would help in dogfighting aspect, but F-15 and 16 is fine

Every nation has something unique to contribute to the game, but lately, “Copy-Paste” seems to be the trend—we’ve seen it a lot in the last three patches. Until things settle, we’ll probably keep seeing more of it.

From a business perspective, it’s easy to see why. Developing one vehicle or plane and adapting it for three or four nations can lead to a massive return—300–400% more in Golden Eagles or player engagement—compared to keeping it exclusive to a single nation.

It’s a smart way to boost revenue.

On the bright side, this approach also gives developers more flexibility to introduce homegrown vehicles through events or special promotions, making them feel more exclusive and exciting.

I’m all for it, as long as it doesn’t stop unique, indigenous platforms from making their way into the game!

issue is that BVR is useless in game, due of how easy to notch missile are

Some of us would say last three years…

I agree, but its been more prevalent in the last 3 patches, don’t you think ?

It just gets more prevalent as time goes on

Almost, as if, in modern world there’s basically 4-5 major vehicles manufacturers/exporters (plus it cuts time and cost for the Snail while maintaining some level of authenticity)

it’s not that big problem, after all, in modern world, it’s harder and harder to produce own weapons.
but what really worrying is that even when “cuts time and cost for the Snail”, there is more and more bugs and unfinished things.
