Eh, considering so far Spain was only tied to Italy it made more sense especially since Italian players think their TT is entitled to Brazilian Gripen E and Spanish F-18 lmao
I would have expected that as well, especially when considering their current top tier Eurocopter Tiger has Spikes based on the fact that Spain uses them

Not the first time gaijins done it, the XS was 10.3 for 6 months before gaijin changed its BR while having more missiles IRST and flares.
Hell even now the XS has a lower BR in sim than the J35D lmao
I mean Spain would make sense for Italy, at least as much sense as anyone else who might get them, but there really was nothing tying them to each other, like with Italy and Brazil.
At least with Britain and Germany, they try and claim nations that seem genuinely connected for the most part, emphasis on the most part, but with Italy Spain seems more common to mention than any of the other minor Axis powers, including Yugoslavia which could give them a significant number of vehicles, or even Croatia, which would give them the Rafale xD
Id understand stuff like the Cent 2 and such for Spain since its an Italian vehicle. But then you get the majority that claim Spanish F-18 must be added while already having one of the best air trees in game… or wanting the Finnish Patria with the hitfact 2 turret being the only reason. Im just saying they aren’t that different when it comes to Germany or Britain. Its just you see it less often.

Spanish-made vehicles in Spanish service - Italy (in my opinion)
Reason being that Spain is not sufficient for it’s own tech tree. The few domestic vehicles do however fit in Italy since both are Mediterranean, Latin European, and former minor Axis powers.
I’m thinking about the VEC-M1 and BMR SIDAM, both would fit thematically into Italy which is quite “wheeled and light armored” themed

Well, so far there are no Spanish-made vehicles in the game
About Spain being a former minor Axis power, they only were Axis aligned prior to WW2 and generally Spain is not considered a Axis power.
The BMR SIDAM, if that even gets added, would go to Italy either way due to the turret
I believe the matador is a spanish harrier, not 100% sure on that or it was at some
Of the things coming this update i am probably most excited for the tracked rapier and F/A-18A and not much else.
AV-8S or VA.1 Matador was the designation for the Harriers bought by Spain. The designation is the only thing that’s Spanish about them.

I think the Spanish variants did have some unique modification like a fairly decent RWR, but yes. The Thai AV-8Ss are just exported Spanish AV-8Ss which are virtually the same as the AV-8As
