Yeah, its really funny the stories of of the FA2 vs F3 fights, where the F3s were nursing their fuel the entire time and often limited to 1 fight, where the FA2s were sat there without a care in the world for 2 or 3 fights.

The Harrier was fuel fuel and did ok against the first lightning, than the lightning flew home.
The Harrier pilot jettisoned some fuel and managed to beat the Lightning at 20,000 feet plus.
PARS (or Trigat-LR) was a started as a joint project between the UK, France, & Germany. Not sure why you’re surprised they’re getting it, also considering gaijin’s rules on compatibility across aircraft. They have some tanks from other nations, look at most nations, Britain has RU and british vehicles with some US. Sweden has a Danish CV90 and Norwegian leo 1’s and RU helicopter and tank with US AHS. France definitely isn’t unique in this matter lol

Again Germany will likely get the F-18 but they didn’t need it. The only nation aside from the US is getting the worst model of it which lacks Radar gun lead indicator and HMD. The 13.7 Gripen will still be a better aircraft so the swedes are still stuck without a competent 14.0 which NG or E could’ve filled since they gimped the F-18

The main benefit would have been for the A2G. With the typhoon not allowed FnF. An F-18 would give them that. But swiss F-18s didn’t have A2G and the treatment of Finnish one supports that they would uphold that
