I’d only be interested in the electronic combat stuff, the HARMs would probably just be for that SEAD mode until they start adding objectives and mechanics that would warrant having such missiles in other modes
its a shame modular airfields are only available in sim, they are a really cool system and make bombers useful, if you take out tents it stops them from being able to repair the base, the hangers stop AI aircraft from covering the base, the warehouses stop you from being able to rearm there and the airstrip itself stops players from spawning there.
I hope that if we do get that bomber mode they implement these airfields
Or even just gives a guaranteed target to go bomb
Just have it give rewards for bombing the runway, but the actual effect is just the holes in the runway made by the bombs
yeah, if I remember from playing the Lancaster it take A LOT of bombs to destroy the segments as well, like I think it took 2 full loads of the 14 1000lb HC bombs to destroy just the tents

Eh… You need a really coordinated team to take one out, let alone multiple. But giving score/reward, means you don’t have to fight over bases
yeah outside of the airfields and carriers there arent a lot of targets to bomb in sim for stratbombers, I wonder if those factory and oil buildings will be for new industrial complex bombing targets, could be like nuclear option where taking out back line factories reduces or out right stops the production of AI ground units in that area
Full disabling of spawn should only occur when AF is fully destroyed. But using the crater code to model bomb craters in AF runway would make it extremely hard to take off and land

yeah, but getting a 4 man squad in B-29s has to be one of the greatest times I have had in bombers lol
