Depending on how F/A-18C is implemented… I am almost more interested by F/A-18A, hahah.
As far as I know, no more capable missiles are coming, so F/A-18C will just be a subsonic F-15C at the same BR as Eurofighters, Rafales and the upcoming SU-30. So it doesn’t sound very appealing for now.

It is extremely unexpected but deeply appreciated if true. Not only is it our first premium CAS aircraft in years. But also should be really fun. If it has 9Ls that is. I miss having the Gr7 at the much lower BR in SB where you could actually use it for CAS properly.

Every USAF F15 fair enough but other countries gear isn’t theirs for the claiming just because its the origin country.
I as an englishman isn’t going to claim everything with the ROF 105mm as that’s British in origin. Nor will I claim all ordinance with RDX explosive because I live like 25 minutes from the building it was invented in
HMS Tiger is… niche.
The guns are funny to use but pretty poor accuracy and the secondaries dont hit the same place as the primaries when firing together. Also despite the high RoF of the guns, you actually have a lower RoF than the Helena and less accuracy.
But it shreads destroyers when you get up close and personally and sniping aircraft is funny

I’ve been told that the NITEHAWK on the F/A-18As was just a FLIR, but no targetting pod.
They only introduced the targetting capability on F/A-18Cs and onwards.

If that is USS Colorado then that would be a WWII refit as it was not finished until after Pearl Harbor and would be the reason the Colorado missed the attack. It isn’t as significant as the major rebuilds of the other big five, but to the best of my knowledge none of them had finished being bulged by the time of the US entry into the war. However it would be fairly representative of a Colorado in wartime service as only West Virginia saw a major rebuild, completed late into the war, and Maryland did not carry 5”/38s until after the war had ended.
Idk if anyone else shares this value but i gotta be honest, the F18 at 14.0 but must broken on the dev or something to warrant it being a EFT equivalent like mach 1.2 on the deck with all 10 missiles. Otherwise it really feels like gaijin based the BR off need to give Finland a 14.0 as a bandaid solution to a much bigger probelm.
