Do you think F-18E Super Hornet is better than Su-30SM that Russia is warranted Su-35?
Su-30SM is better than the F/A-18C Super Hornets for the “meta game” of 14.0, but not by much.
The Su-35 is absolutely not warranted though. The 30SM was given R-77-1s to make up for its downsides and as a result those missiles are fine. But if you were to add a significantly better platform like the Su-35, it would lead to a cascade of requests for 120C-5s and buffs to the PL-12, MICA ,and AAM-4 (which yes already happens, difference is that now they’d actually be warranted). Which would once again lead to russia being powercrept, and being back in the same boat…
Realistically, there just doesn’t seem a way for Russia to release a meta competitive jet in the foreseeable future.
the Super Hornet changes nothing, the F-2 changes nothing since it has no HMD, the Typhoon isn’t needed, the Rafale isn’t needed, the EX isn’t needed.
That leaves the Su-35 as the only plane on this list that’s “needed” to close any of the current gaps, problem is that it’d likely result in the release of the 120C-5 and the buffs to all other ARHs that are supposed to compete with it. Putting russia back at square 1.

I would say the Eurofighter more, the US just got three aircraft so it’s fair the trio to get at least another batch
AESA typhoon is a pretty potent jet. Direct counterparts would be F-15QA or EX, Rafale F4.2, and midlife F-22A
But I would like to see them at some point. They are a bit much for now though
As I say the US just got the Hornet they’d be alright to miss an update like we did.
Though the leap frog idea I do hope will happen.

Well ideally I want them to rework Israel and the sub nation implementation this year especially if they want to add more. The fact they haven’t even thought of it yet scares me more than power creep now
