Yep, whether the GR4 should get 6 or 9 before costs increased exponentially is a worthwhile debate to be had, but on the Typhoons, 6 is certainy suffecient and past 6, the costs can increase signfiicantly.
But yeah, always made me mad that 2x Hellfires on the Apache cost the exact same as 16. Or running 12x 1k bombs on the Tornado Gr1 cost the same as 4x GBUs, (imo the unguided bombs should be much cheaper, but a bomb = a bomb, regardless of weight, guidance or quantity)

yes it would, with highly configurable aircraft like the Typhoon, Gr7 and Gr4, would love that for SB regardless

Nope, Typhoons don’t carry nukes. The sole reason (and it’s actually the sole reason) Germany is/was even considering buying American jets is to carry the US nukes stationed in Germany.

@Smin1080p_WT sorry to bother you. But could I get an close date as of time frame Gaijin has the F/A-18C late. I know we have an estimation of a time period but I want to see if any weapon suggestions would be worth my time.
Yep, the original hornet order was solely because of nukes. But now that the F-35 is also nuke certified it’ll fulfill that role. I’m still a bit unsure what exactly it’s role will be in the Luftwaffe, as we are also developing the Eurofighter EK for SEAD operations, which the tornados do atm

Idk, how much should a nation spend on a nuclear deterrent, I guarantee Britain and France spend more
Though im sure like a lot of things. All that is really getting between the Typhoon and carrying nukes is just a stack of paperwork if it was ever needed :D
