I mean, I can like the Harrier and Typhoon and still want more stuff, I wouldn’t be able to get those from the Soviet tree, and I don’t have all the time in the world to grind every tree for every vehicle I like
I mean the vehicles I want are:
Harrier
Typhoon
Tandem F-16
F/A-18
Flanker
F-35
and for that I’d realistically have to grind 4 trees including the two biggest ones
Or I can do:
Britain (Typhoon, Harrier, Flanker, F-35 (potentially F/A-18))
Israel (Tandem F-16) (obviously the only place it’s guaranteed)
US (Just bought the premium F/A-18C anyway, it’s pretty much the exact version I wanted)
Which brings it down to 2 (and nearly just 1) much smaller trees, and by chance my home country, which is always a boon.
I did happen to quite enjoy Israel too, the Ayit is one of my favourites and the Netz was great fun after La Royale when they added the Python 3, also the Kfir Canard was good for grinding, the DEFAs are by far my favourite gun to use given the way it just detonates aircraft
At which point I dont really see the point in grinding a single other TT
and what isnt recognised is that Britain has no significant gaps and unlike japan with Thailand for example. Has a pretty full tree on its own. If any Sub-TT should come, then it should be SA stuff not soviet stuff
I doubt we’ll see the Rafale tbf, same with the Mirage, the rest all feel possible
But that still leaves
USA
Russia
France
China
Israel
Japan
with significant enough unique additions at top tier to be more than worth Grinding
that only leaves Germany, Italy, and Sweden, and that is largely because we share the Typhoon and Tornado with Italy and Germany, and if you remove the F/A-18 from the list which is not incredibly likely, Sweden also becomes worth it with the F/A-18 and Gripen E, despite being a tiny tree itself.
Not to mention all the non top tier vehicles that each nations has, which given that top tier is mostly just 4 big groups now anyway is the more important distinction between the nations
etc are all outstanding British aircraft. Doesnt take much to throw the Odd Cheatah in there as well from SA and we are set for the next 2 or 3 years at the rate at which they add jets to Britain.
And thats without even taking into account the aircraft we do currently have still need extensive TLC with the Harriers get at the moment a decent start to that work.
Since you mentioned the F-35, you should understand that the top is only GCAP and F-35, and everything else is just a temporary transitional product. And it is obvious that among the aircraft you mentioned so far, Gripen C/Mig-29K/UPG/Mirage2000 will not be the top at present. As for Tornado, haha, it’s better not to participate in adults’ games
There is and I expect to see the HAWK at some point along with the GNAT and Harrier GR.9
Tornado GR.1B (Anti shipper)
Maybe a Cheetah and the Ajeet
After these though it’s a long wating game and we need to hope that despite Britain receieving nothing in the top end bracket of the game that Gaijin behind the scenes are implementing fixes on the British vehicles we have that are in need.
