The R-77-1 won’t be much of an upgrade outside of increased range. There is no reason for NATO nations to get AIM-120C-5 just because the USSR suddenly has a bit more range.

It will be AIM-120B equivalent in the best case scenario.
Likely it will end up in between MICA and PL-12 range, likely on the higher end. AIM-120C-5 is not needed.
The R-77-1 should be the standard counterpart to the AIM-120A/B really

Depending if the 2 new rank I boats will get better armament than the VTB-8, 11 and 14, this might actually prove to be a great update for anyone starting with French coastal ships. The addition of the 2.3 Flower Class and the 3.0 Marne class is also very nice to see, as France really lacks decent line-ups at the lower BR’s of Coastal.
The absolute removal of these reserve ships is saddening, so maybe we could see them as separate vehicles from the tech tree instead?

It’s tough because players no longer play a singular nation they play the flavour of the week. Which is the Rafale right now.
But next update it will be the Su-30

I mean there isn’t much left to add in terms of mbt’s outside of tech demonstrators and maybe an Abrams variant or two, but I completely get it. Not getting content for your prefered game mode for years sucks.
They could ‘free’ them and make them optional. Like some French and Japanese tanks in rank I.

Gaijin made it so easy to reach top tier, and stripped so much national identity from tech trees, that you’re right, people just seem to play whats meta and they can grind with a top tier premium in a week or 2

beyond new additions causing an influx of META chasers a lot of people main a certain nation at specific BRs or overall, I play britain only but I play with people that only really use USSR or USA at specific BRs too. If we could see where the high and low points are we could suggest ways to help even out player distributions either via balancing or additions. We all know that gaijin devs themselves arent massive players of the actual game in comparison to forum frequenters so it would be a great way to get better community input into the games direction.
