That’s what I mean. It doesn’t make sense to get a couple aircraft to maintain since you couldn’t really use em. So they probably didn’t want what they paid for anyway as maintaining them might have costed more.

Maneuver Enhancement is a different FCS control mode to MLC.
MLC, also found on F-16s, uses elevators for pitch control, but adds flaps to enhance turn performance and amplify elevator input. Basically automatic flaps that slightly extend based on the maneuver to increase turn performance.
Maneuver Enhancement uses the main wing for pitch control and the elevators only secondary, making use of the leading and trailing edge flaps to their fullest extent to create enough lift to pull the nose up rather than push the tail down. Think of it as very big canards essentially. What this does is pull sharper maneuvers at less AoA, which not only makes it turn faster, but also bleed less energy and keep its stability by delaying the point where it reaches critical AoA.
DY is simpler, it adds roll input to cancel out induced roll with yaw controls, allowing the plane to turn without rolling.
Su-30 would be just UFO, at least with current FM and in one circle

Nothing here was a scam. Asian Financial Crisis prevented further payments, so the purchase was cancelled. However since the airframes were already too far along in construction, the deal was that Thailand would be refunded only when another export customer was found to carry the cost.
That never happened and they were used by USMC
I’d still argue that justifies Thai Hornet, but this doesn’t have to be a jab at USA.

I have it, and enjoy it quite a bit other than the Bad RWR . Slaps hard at 11.7 in SB and is way better imo than the F4J(UK) at 12.0.
AMX A-1A (11.0) is Italys only option at the moment and is pretty poor outside of base bombing in SB.
Israel only has the Kfir Canard (11.0)
Japan has the F-4EJ ADTW (11.0)
China only has the J-7D (10.7)
Even Germany is arguably in greater need of a premium fighter, though they did just get a premium and shoudlnt get another so soon.
Im not saying France cant get another, but If I were to prioritise. They would be 5th inline
