Agreed. F-16AJ was a paper variant that was never built and lost the competition, it’s really not a comparison here.

That is complete “what if” and is full paper, because RTAF never operated hornets. You said yourself, less than a quarter was paid for by Thailand and the vast majority was paid by the US, so they are US hornets by % paid for and where they ended up in reality
I’d imagine what are you gonna do with just a handful of hornets? Not enough for a squadron and maintenance cost seems not worth. Maybe they made a deal somewhere else to make up for it.

It’s been 2 years (Apex Predators) we only have the F1C200 as a premium choice, stop it with that, in the meanwhile USA got handfull of them.
Getting another premium don’t stop Italy to get more too.
If we are talking about Sweden who is out of options then maybe, or perhaps Japan itself with the proposed Su-27 case can even be reasonable. For a subtree like Thailand however this would be the first case.
