tbh i just want them to really fix vehicles like abrams, ariete WAR kit, challengers, etc…
The current Finnish F-18 has about as much likely of being added as the Swiss. Both the Fin and Swiss F18 were leaked and neither have been shown. The only difference is one nation got a end of the line jet last patch. Its entirely up in the air and no confirmations have been made outside the US hornets.
Well see that is just the issue. Gaijin usually enters these aircraft as Frankenstein aircraft of different years. Is it going to be an A or an A+? IIRC the the A+ was running ATFLIRs. Another issue with Gaijins modeling (most likely only for gameplay purposes though) is the AGM-65E. The AGM-65E was never able to be lased from the launching aircraft but in game it can. As I said I am certain it is for gameplay purposes but still.

I mean theirs honestly plenty of content left from the past. The mass of prototypes and experiments and what not. If the Maus can be included then theirs plenty of nonsense remaining from the 20’s through the 60’s and 70’s. They definitely wouldn’t run out, though they’d have to be slow about introducing stuff.
I’m not even opposed to it going into the modern era, but I just don’t find the modern era stuff enjoyable to play. The Korea era and WW2 era stuff is a joy but beyond that it feels like diminishing returns for me. But I’ve also only played a bit of 8.3 and 9.3 at the most. I just find that 9.3 hasn’t been much fun for what little I’ve played. 7.7 has been okay, and 6.7 is fun.
Point is, I definitely understand why people dislike it leaving the cold war stuff and going full modern, and while I don’t hard agree I can’t say I’m ever excited by modern stuff really.

Yeah, I understand why they didn’t. Just two planes they probably couldn’t have kept up anyways aren’t worth it. Also when Thailand cancelled it was expected to be refunded when another nation takes them instead (Kuwait was planned, but rejected).
The refund was only denied when USMC took them

Strictly speaking it didnt get Brimstones until 2017 (iirc) but thsoe were Brimstone 2s and we have Brimstone 1s in game
Eh if we went by munitions being added then we’d have more modern stuff. All gripens users aside from SA have MS20 which was only in service with Sweden in 2015-2016 that is specifically for the upgrade to use GBU-39. Actual avionic and engine wise its from 1996 considering they have the less fuel efficient engine and Gripen A radar. What a mess.
Yeah, so I would go roughly by saying the Typhoon is somewhere between 2008-2011 (where it deployed in Libya for the first time)
