But hey, no worries, there is a Finnish F-18C which can be rebadged, there is an Leopard 2A4 in swedish tech tree, there is Bill in Swiss Army markings and there is a F-5E which i have in Swiss Air Force markings. I can wait until GJ throws in the real alpine hornet with super hornet cockpit 😉

Yeah thats why I am wondering if anyone knows any visual clues which help pin down what version it is, EG if it doesnt have a thermal optic system it shouldnt get the mk2 missiles iirc?
I dont know the rapier enough to really say visually on it.
If it is just the mk1 missile, i dont even mind the smoke ploom if its 9.0, good to give planes some warning.

Yeah, the drag caused by the fins in exchange for better AOA was found to not be worth the trade off in range performance by everyone except the Russians until later on.
