And the J-11B, an aircraft operated by a literal modern day superpower, perfecting avionics and engines of the Flanker (of which one was literally in this teaser) can’t be featured?
These two are even good for a match up of a second teaser, that I really hope they are working on with how mid and short this one was.
(Ideally in this teaser it’d be J-10B, but it’s not confirmed it’s coming while J-11B is)

Ima be real, that’s huge copium. There is no second teaser. If the F-2 was already in danger of being delayed, there was no way it was going to be in the teaser. We should really be hoping it’s there in the devstream tomorrow in some capacity because otherwise we’re waiting till next update.
If there’s any solace, not having the J-11B in there means, as Smin usually says, not everything coming in the update is in the trailer. We just have to wait for tomorrow.
That being said, @Smin1080p_WT should Japan expect anything for top tier air this update?

Good points, though I would say the J-11B is one direction closer to perfecting, and the J-16 is the final result.

Look at the theme of the trailer, that theme doesn’t fit F-2 nor J-11.
Themes dictate what’s shown, not the entire content of an update.
And a 2nd trailer would be unprecedented nor needed when dev stream is tomorrow.
F-2 being among my favorite jets won’t change the reality of the theme chosen.
