I was disappointed because I thought C was worse than E- but since C Late is better than E, I am happy!

I guess. If Japan wanted hornets they would probably have better luck with the Malaysian ones though

Well, the F/A-18E will have a better radar too, the F/A-18C should be mechanical still unless we get the USMC current one, which is unlikely

Indeed it is, It’s just that the latest leak shows this update will only bring the F/A-18A and the F/A-18C.
The later F/A-18C had an uprated F404 engine. The F/A-18E has the F414 engine.

Considering if Japan was getting hornets, it would be leaked. I assume it’s F-2 or nothing for Japan this update.

True but I guess making them a squadron vehicle wouldn’t go a miss as gaijin could mess around with their load outs

I guess how much better the 18E radar will be in game depends on how well Gaijin models it and how much of the aesa functionalities Gaijin model.
They could just make it a slightly faster scanning normal radar and call it a day.
Still weird that this leak showed F/A-18E for this update though.
