Its a cool vehicle. I mean there could even be a civilian owned vehicle battlepass getting the race F8F and top gun 2S1 with demoliton ranch garand thumb etc guys as decals lol
Yeah… unles F/A-18C Late has practically the same capabilities F-18E would have had minus two missiles, I can’t see why anyone would want to play it instead of F-15C, F-15E, or, in case they have other nations, Eurofighter, etc.
“Too little too late” is a real thing. The F-18s should probably have come before F-15E, which, apparently, will still remian the better American plane.

Eh the aesa radar of the 18E wouldn’t make that much of a difference in game yet anyway.
Until Gaijin models aesa stuff more fully, the only real difference between the 18C and 18E will be the 2 more missiles and seriously worse flight performance.
The 18C will likely perform better in the war thunder enviroment until they model more aesa radar features.
Imagine if F-15I was never added and the F-15E still had the regular engines. Maybe we could’ve gotten hornet earlier

Yeah the legacy Hornet was always more of an attacker anyway, it was made to replace the A-6s and A-7s, it was in service alongside the Tomcat.
Meanwhile the F/A-18E was designed to replace the Tomcat so it’s obviously a better fighter than the legacy… I will really be missing that AESA radar too.
