That and the f-2 and the oh-2 pretty much everything cool has been suggested for japan. All if it is being considered. So finding something new to suggest doesnt really work.

R-77-1 with a good radar is going to be so nice. SU-30SM is just gonna struggle performance wise.

Yeah ttrue but we still have stuff they simply refuse to put in for no reason. We get a made up f-16 and then a f-15 and thailand f-16 before we get the f-2 if we ever get it
Tbh, should have saved Su-30SM for new F-15 to keep flanker eagle rivalry going

They ordered and built for them then 08 happened so the US kept them and never refunded the Thai air force back iirc, they were real just never entered service
