I can literally say the same exact thing about a 2S38
And you’re right it is my issue, most of the time i shoot the turret and they scurry away or i don’t get the chance to sling HE rounds at them before they dip. Most play like snipers which is pretty decent given their pen and ROF. I will never shoot the turret when i can hit the chassis because i need to react fast enough before a 2S38 can disable me.
Same logic applies to anyone that panic shoots any IFV. The difference is the 2S38 has so much pen that it can consistently engage targets head on. A 9040 normally can go for small holes in a T series tank frontally but if you go for those you will likely die before you do any real damage. Abrams and Type 90’s are easy because they have weak armor. Lets not pretend that a 2S38 has to aim given its pen on most targets especially since it rarely ever fights T-series tanks.

While the entire top tier China CAS contains two(2) fire and forgets. 8km track range. Everything else - glide bombs without correction, so useful only in SEAD gameplay, and beyond that LGBs only. JF-17 only carries LGB and AGR. J-10A has to give up every guided A2G for a full CAP set of 6+2, JH-7A has no IRCCM missile or BVR whatsoever.
Saying China is dead last in CAS is pretty accurate and Id assume undoubtable, even the second worst, Japan, gets a fairly big strech.

Also it’s funny how we never got the TT A-6 (the SWIP we were supposed to get), but will receive the plane that replaced it
The hornet replaced the A-4, the A-6, the A-7, and the late F-4s off the midway class carriers; to complement the F-14s. I’d love to see the progression make sense
TBF the US gets a lot of jets every update, gaijin will eventually add the SWIP and others given enough time.

I just want to know when other nations are gunna get SPAA/IFVs with similar performance to the top IFVs.
You say that like the current 11.0 IFV’s are good, they’re gimmick vehicles at best. 9.x is where its at for IFV’s
Perhaps, but I still think its time for something like the Ajax or Warrior Verdi II for the Briitsh TT as the Desert Warrior is rather bad.

no it’s safe to call China the definitive worst
The J-10A is missing not just munitions but also the payload is just wrong (both of which were accepted by gaijin during Dance of Dragons)
and the JH-7A doesn’t get the improved KH29s (nor does it get the 4 its allegedly capable of carrying)
Going down the list from worst to best I’d go. (this is based purely on CAS only and it counts both their best strike jet and jet fighter)

Going from worse to best as you have I would say
- China
- Sweden/Japan
- Germany
- Britain/Italy (Seperated because whilst they all have the Typhoon, Britain and Italy have other good CAS they can call upon to augment their CAS line-up. Germany doesnt)
- US/Israel
- France
- Soviets
(IOG AGMs are just dominate at the moment)

Well I do mean in-game capabilities. If the whole potential is realized it could def be a lot better.
what keeps japan ahead of Sweden is that the F-16A OCU is better at CAS than the Gripen, and their A-7 is far better as a strike jet than the Strike Viggen.
The reason Russia is below both France and America is for a similar simple reason.
The KH38 is fantastic, but they only have it on their strike jets. Their actual jet fighter, by comparison is on the lower end of things for CAS (because KH29TE’s are limited by no targeting pod on the aircraft that use them)
Whereas the AASM Hammer and AGM-65Ds are operated on both the strike and jet fighters of their respective nations, and far surpass those KH29s. Also America and Israel being on par is odd given Israel lacks a jet fighter with the cas loadout to match the F-16C

The BTR-60PB with a KPVT should be like 2.3 to 3.0 worthy, given how good the 14.5 is here, but its not an IFV so
You do know that Japan literally has the best Swedish CAS jet on top of other strike fighters right? And also has multiple strike fighters 9.0-13.0 that fill all of Japans ground lineups? So idk how you came to that conclusion
