The Pentagon just gave $3.5 billion for engine development for the NGAD.
Which version of the F/A-18 would we get then? Australia isn’t a subtree either (unfortunately)
It’s not fully Russian so def possible…
As of right now likely neither.
I personally wish for the CF-188(over anything Soviet/Russian) but neither is likely.
you might not like it, but it’s a fact, why bother adding India as a subtree if they’re going to deny us most of their vehicles? the SU-30MKI is the most numerous jet in India’s arsenal
Good question. But nothing real stops Snail from making skins… or adding skins/camo (from Live) from wrong jets (like Su-30 camo on Su-27 and Su-35 on on 27SM. I don’t even mention blue-white pixel of T-50)
The F-16C has [at least] the same time to climb while having worse energy retention and a minimum 2 less missiles, and up to 6 less missiles.
F-18C is better than the F-16C outside costs.
@DAVE9000
Su-30MKI is entirely India funded.
Su-30SM only exists because India bankrolled the Su-30MKI project.
You didn’t answer the question of which F/A-18 Britain would get.
Could get Australian f-18E
Just add the fricken Tejas, its the most Indian plane you can get
F18c doesn’t retain energy better than the f16c. It bleeds it far more quickly. F16c climbs better due to the better twr.
imho it shouldn’t get one it has enough in indigenous designed and things from sub trees
Yeah it’s just another light-ish plane, would be nice to have another missile bus
Same with the MiG-29K, and in some way the SU-57, though that is debatable
There isn’t one, Australia only uses the F/A-18F
Can’t have every kind of plane in every tree
Su-30Mki uses things like mica, litening 2, asraam, rampage which su-30sm doesn’t, would be pretty cool
Oh my bad that’s what I meant
French F-18 (FN) when? France trialed the F-18 Hornet.
What day are we thinking for trailer?
