I’m not saying they’d surrender. I’m saying the U.S. would destroy their military and wind up in an extended insurgency, which i’m gonna be honest most westerners don’t have the stomach for a guerilla war on the side of the insurgents.

US vs French war discussion going on but has anyone forgotten that unlike a lot of European countries, France does have nuclear missiles? Nuclear submarines? Nuclear air to surface Mach 5+ missiles? Nuclear ballistic missiles? The outcome would be worse than when the US invaded Afghanistan/Iraq because millions of Americans would die as well.

even an old plane may kill a super modern jet, you cant say the jet is bad. a mig-21 killed an iranian f-14 in a dogfight but only once! mig-21 was f-14’s food in iraq iran war. f-22 is a beast im sure its better than f-35 in dogfight and we can clearly say F-22 IS THE BEST JET OF WORLD SINCE IT ENTERED SERVICE.
f-15 far better than f-14 in dogfight but it does not mean NO F-14 can win a dogfight with f-15
Its easy to protest when you’re in a country with running water, electricity and food. Take all of that away and you’re going to find the will to fight fades quickly. Unless westerners are willing to live like the NVA or afganis they’re pretty screwed.
Yeah, it wouldn’t be an invasion vs insurgency like US versus their previous wars. It would just be armageddon. So neither side would have the appetite for that.
