You can count the F-15J ones too and they don’t add to 240 lol. So F-2 by the same rules should be 120.
First, that’s literally what he said lol. (Unless he edited it)
Second:
120 might be a generous amount, it seems to be lower than that… likely 90 in total if I were to guess. It’s more than probable that two of the dispensers are that of the larger caliber variety.
Gaijin being gaijin lmao. Wouldn’t put it past them to model it as 90 and say it’s 120 xD
kfir. c10 still has the bars on the cockpit that aren’t there in cockpit view lol.
Yes XD
I know man, so infuriating lol. Still can’t believe they haven’t fixed it yet. One of my favorite jets, and not only does it come missing its MAWS, I-Derby, and Python 4 (and understandably I-Derby ER and Python 5), but also has those 2 infuriating little bars. I know it doesn’t affect gameplay, but it affects me :(((
What does that have to do with anything? Of course as an American myself I can recognize the US air force is the most dominant air force in the world, doesn’t detract from the fact that F-22 still can be beaten 1 on 1.
Mocks are to learn your weaknesses not your strengths.
I mean, if we’re talking a US invasion of France, I think I’d take France, the US struggles so much invading much weaker countries, and it’s never won a war without help as far as I know, except against itself
No ik I agree with you. Im saying in the grand scheme of things a 1v1 is unlikely and irrelevant.
Yeah but this is at the end of the day Warthunder, and people like to do 1v1s on here and so of course the topic re-occurs
It’s ALE-45 iirc, which can fit two types of dispensers, one for small countermeasures that holds 30 a piece or one for large countermeasures that holds 15 a piece. These are fully interchangeable.
However since there is no large caliber Chaff for them, only flares, while for small caliber both exist these should be 120 in game.
I should probably add that this can also just be mishandled by Gaijin. For example the Thai F-16A OCU uses 4 ALE-40 (functionally like ALE-45), but only gets the tail ones modeled with one holding 30 small CMs and the other 15 large CMs. This is a historical inaccuracy, but also shows that Gaijin doesn’t shy away from making insufficiently small countermeasures if they perceive it as correct.
All we can do in this case is hope they don’t repeat it with the F-2 and support the bug report so it will get fixed.
Yeah I was just saying
They are probs not getting it this patch
Is there a list of aircrafts in-game that uses ALE-45?
I mean, there was a lot of wars that it could’ve won by itself but help is always appreciated. I’m not sure about france tbf they also seemed to fail in their own veitnam.
That is no edited.
Usually, when it is on public display, it is covered or dummied.

The F-2 has 4 CM magazine attachments, 2 on the underside of the fuselage and 2 on the right side of the vertical stabilizer, and each seems to be able to hold either 30 or 15 (Large) cartridges.
At least 60 (large) and up to 120 (regular) rounds can be carried.
exactly i wouldnt say the f22 is weak in dog fight you thrust vectoring stuff like that the rafale and typhoon are both some of the best dogfighters still have weakness and f22 should not have let him within dogfight range but f22 was not built just for dogfighting for example this guy lays point out pretty clear
first shot opportunity is life
It was a mock WVR dogfight. There is no not letting the aircraft that close.
