How it goes is f15 laubches first as its got better engines but hornet shines in a dogfight but bvr wise it will be like f16C so good but not great
If you only included stuff that can actually be expected to be added the list would be half as long lol
i disagree i think itll be more like tomcat you keep up for first few turns but eventually loose if you cant get guns on it wont bleed everthing after one turn
I asked him to just state what he could remember what was missing
TL;DR: more speed on launch usually means more range. The missile itself already gets more energy from the launch platform, taking less time to get up to it’s top speed, meaning it has more booster time left to increase the range.
Or something like that, my physics classes were a while ago, so I’m a bit rusty on that.
Same reason why sometimes ground based A2A missiles have less range than their air counterparts, or they get outfitted with a extra booster (or whatever it’s called) to compensate for this.
Or how sometimes missiles fired from helicopters have less range than when fired from fixed wing aircraft.
There are a LOT of EGBU and LJDAM so not really
Sure, but would you consider stuff that probably won’t be added for good reasons as missing?
idk we’ll have to wait and see, but when I get it my strategy will be to take them up in a climbing rolling scissors and split thrust on the top to hammer head onto them. (my strategy when 1v1 in the F14 if they are better)
All I’m gonna say that it’s not exactly difficult to fake it.
In this case yes, becuase someone was talking about how the Grom 2 was missing.
i need that skin ingame
Fair, didn’t catch that.
My mind probably purposefully kept me from reading that because of how stupid the idea of having Grom 2 in WT is.
Yeah so I wanted to give him other things that should be added if the Grom 2 is brought back lol
I was using an extreme to his extreme
Yeah that’s fair.
Knowing Gaijin they probably won’t give it PL-8B.
I am always fascinated by how much emphasis and focus people put in ranges.
I always thought the ideal range for AIM-120 was somewhere between 9 km and 19 km; just close enough to give very little time to evade and make it more difficult… yet some people aim for 20+ km ranges!
I am surprised because I always found long range launches easy to evade and defend against by contrast. When you are getting a RWR signal for 30 seconds, I find it rather easy to just turn away, notch, chaff and repeat till the signal is gone.
So I always thought that, the less time to react and defend, the better chances a launch would have. At least that’s how I die the most to Fox-3s; when I don’t have enough time to turn away and notch them.
However, it really seems like some people somehow… die to 20+ km launches!
I still got so much to learn…
when is gaijin gonna model dual plane
everything is absolutely correct, also the starting speed should affect the range of the missile overload, which it can give at a certain distance. That is, the higher the speed of the aircraft, the higher the speed of the missile and the higher its maneuverability. And therefore at some distances it will be impossible to dodge it, it depends on whether the missile is flying towards or catching up and on the initial maneuverability of the missile itself
It would be more common if you could actually guide the Aim120 all the way in.
