In close dogfights people will be slinging R-73s and MICAs from hilarious angles while your pre-led 9Ms will be unable to even head in their direction.
I mean pretty much every nations besides Russia still has BBs to add.

I’m not saying the f-18 will go at 14.0 but that it could still have a chance when it gets dragged up there from whatever br it’s at.

Sure, each missiles have their advantages/disadvantages but I disagree with the characterization that the AIM-9M is the worst missile in top tier.

Context is important. I’d much rather have magic II or R-73 on the typhoon in a dogfight, but would rather have Aim-9M to ambush people. Though 9Ms need their IRL lock ranges

I dont think I’ve ever heard anyone claim that TIALD was “all that great”
If they were to rework resolutions to be more realistic you would sit at resolutions of 640x480 at most with most pods for a while until way more modern planes arrive.
