See its simple, i find most of the Northern Germanic Languages all have the same types of naming conventions. Finnish is even worse imo lol, i blame my ancestors for the long words found in our Languages.

european have such long name for tank

Makes sense to us. English is a confusing language when you first learn it.

Eh, the full names of British tanks aren’t long at all and the names of French and Italian vehicles only tended to be a bit long because the manufacturers names were included

What do you mean ?

Well, I mean, do you want to play a M3(bradley), a M3(GMC), a M3(Medium tank) or a M3(Light tank) in the game war thunder? Or type 89(tank), type 89(PTZ89), type 89(IFV)?

Yeah but English is a silly language overall.

Yeah, but you guys have the tendency to use those designations for multiple things at once…

If you look at full army designation system it makes sense

The AN/ system is the best military naming system in the world though

No, the engine problems were only really a MiG-25P issue, later models were somewhat improved.

Maybe it makes sense for you guys, but for an outsider it doesn’t make sense to use the exact same designation scheme for both ground vehicles and guns at the same time

At least you managed to differentiate your planes from your helicopters

It makes sense if you use it properly
