We don’t rule out future vehicles arriving at or around this BR too. However these aircraft are not being removed in a major update and their intended replacements were already introduced in the previous one.
Replacements in the past for vehicles removed from research were also not 1:1 the same BR.

Yeah, I understand that. I’m just trying to say that with them already being there alongside the R2Y2s and also not sharing the same BR that adds up to the removal feeling like it gives nothing in return that wasn’t there and leaves a perceived gap.
A rank 5 aircraft in the next update (still before the removal) can mention being a replacement in the devblog and with that make it feel like something was given in return, specifically as replacement.

India has Meteors for their Rafales already, and ASRAAM is becoming the standard IR missile now that it’s jot US export controlled, both of which are being integrated onto the F-35, so it is entirely possible for India to field them
I don’t believe this is actually an issue, other nations were able to incorporate their own weapons, why not India.
It’s not been integrated on F-35 yet though, it was promised 10 years ago and now we are looking at 2027 and the end of decade. India like the UK cannot afford these kind of delays.
The US will not integrate Astra on an F-35 as India would be the only operator for that missile system.
India chosing ASRAAM doesnt make a massive difference to the US. India historically have used Russian SRAAMs

As it stands the RAF ASRAAM is the only nation that has a none US weapon system mounted to their F-35.

Today in service we are on F4.1 or 4.2, and F5 is in the work.

Meteor is not close to be configured for F-35, RAF F-35s carry the AIM 120C and D (that they had to purchase as a stop gap)
IRIS-T is also not intergrated on F-35 and would likely end up wing mounted like ASRAAM weakening in the Stealth capabilities of the F-35.
