Problem is France can be as big as other big 3 TT with only domestic stuff.
Thoses Leopards were not needed when you have a good dozen of more of Leclercs to add from the first prototype to the recent showed next project, without talking about all light tank, reco, IFV etc…
And subTT are supposed to help gap, they didn’t for years worked on that gap, and now it’s done thanks to Leopards that add nothing to the lineup at that area?

Majorly upgraded turret armor, additional side protection, 6 second autoloader, blowout panels
It would be an upgrade over the TTD in many aspects, main drawback being a lower top speed.
