I did some calculations, and the 4 x 4000 lb MC payload (with Minol 2 filler) would roughly match the 4 x 4000 lb AN-M56 payload on the B-29A-BN. Would be nice to see some differences between US and British service given the Washington’s postwar service period of 1951-1954, where bombs of British manufacture should be taking over US supply.
At the moment, its not currently a higher priority report, as the devs believe the bombs are much weaker than the American ones in terms of TNT equivalent. So from a gameplay point of view, they would be worse.
@Smin1080p_WT Can you tell me why the SEPV3 abrams was added if it doesn’t get any real upgrades? its heavier, slower, and the turret armor is useless. so why bother adding it?
Respectfully, would the devs like some help with that?
The relevant primary source documentation for British bombs (AP1661B Vol 1 Bombs, 1949) details late-war and early postwar versions of the MC series with improved performance and explosive fillers that equal or exceed the performance of the wartime US bombs that are used as Britain’s best bombs until the early jet BRs.
The Washington will halve a 2.3 BR gap, but as it currently stands brings nothing actually new to the game beyond its appearance.

Why out of all the ships was this one chosen though. Germany has a ton of options to pick from, but instead the super obscure ship with a very strong tie to Belgium was chosen?
This is the only Bluewater ship that Belgium ever (mostly) built for themselves. It’s the former flagship of its navy. It has tons and tons of relevance as a ship for Belgium and almost none for Germany.
This 1 version of a ship rule means that the BeNeLux subtree can NEVER contain the one native ship that Belgium produced.
If this ship is not being moved, I at least beg a change of the rules, because it’s a spit in the face of any Belgian to have this ship taken away.
If anyone was trying to actively sabotage the BeNeLux tree’s naval prospects, they really couldn’t do better than this.
Maybe a new wave of decompression from early jets? I’m seeing a lot of additions being either weak at their respective BR (F-14D vs Su-33 at same BR or Su-30 at 0.3 higher) or useless (F-101 at 104A’s BR). Looks like it’s the time like when Mig-21Bis was 0.3 Br away from PD-using F-4S
Of course. Every time they are working on a big model remaster on the Dev Server, they implement the changes on a single vehicle member of the family as a testbed before implementing it on all others.
This Dev Server has just been weird and they haven’t givem them to any other tank of the family even right before closing after 2 weeks of Dev Server, but then again, neither did they finish SEPv3 nor Leopard 2RI, so xd.
Well opens the doors for U.K to get MK 41 VlS systems and even I think Ageis ships also that upgraded Mogami class (assuming we ever hit modern naval one day)
With the Aussies getting their Abrams this update, hopefully by the end of next year at the latest. As being able to make proper high-tier Canadian line-ups would be nice.
Tho at the same time it might be hard to get a 2A6 CAN, as all the 2A6s (2A6 NL) Canada bought were immediately upgraded to the 2A6M CAN standard.
Im just hoping we dont see a C&P of the Charles F Adams added to the British TT instead of a reasonable equivalent like the County-Class. That would be kinda annoying
