The current in-game model of the M1A2 SEP v3 Abrams correctly implements the historical +4,536 kg weight increase compared to the SEPv2, which directly nerfs its mobility. However, the LFP protection remains identical to the 1979 base M1 Abrams (~350mm KE).
Since this massive weight increase is already coded into the game affecting performance, where is this structural weight currently allocated in the X-Ray model if it provides zero equivalent RHA protection to the hull?
Since the exact composition of the Next Evolutionary Armor (NEA) is classified—preventing us from providing blueprints without breaking forum rules—could the development team finally apply the official 2021 modern vehicle estimation policy to calculate a logical RHA thickness based on the vehicle’s volume and added mass?

gaijin awhile back said that they didnt belivie the T series tanks had baskets that would interrupt the turret turning as the autoloader was separate
so my guess is the T sires tanks and by extension the ZTZs will not get a turret ring that is damaged when shooting the auto loader
