These are 2024 numbers, so even before they started adding more and more Premiums, including the incredibly successful Senrai Maidens;
Net Sales Revenue - ~$151.5 million.
Pre-tax Profit - ~$100 million. Before corporate tax.
After-tax Net Profit: -$93.33M. Extremely high ~61.5% net margin
Proposed Dividends - ~$77–90M. Large payout to the holding company, aka Gaijin Entertainment Holdings Ltd. (100% owner)
So… yeah. Not an indie company, not struggling to fund additional content or modes. They are adding lots of Premiums as to maintain this economy or even improve it, but not out of an absolute or desperate need for it.
Point being, they can develop infantry without having any impact on the vehicular aspect of the game and without requiring “more” than they already earn, so any claims that “infantry detracts resources from the vehicular aspect of the game” or that “they need more Premiums to finance infantry” are… inaccurate, to say the least.

and a whole new team to work on it also doesnt change much as the point im trying to make is there draining a bunch of money on infantry that could go into actually fixing the game

well if you cant give anything to back up your statement of “a lot of people asked for it” (a lot of people being someone you were in a call with ig) then theres not much else to say
Improved turret armor for an already non penetrable turret and the hull armor increase still doesnt have confirmed values so for all we know it could prevent a few random atgms from penning the lfp but thats it since apparently theyre so insistent on the increase being for mainly chemical protection, it could be a 5mm ke increase 200mm ce increase for all we know, i would rather use the sepv2 with LWS and ROSY over the sepv3 if the hull armor ends up being a letdown, because at that point, again, its just a worse sepv2 with an increased weight (less mobility)
Going a little deeper on the turret armor upgrade, the m1s turret cheeks are already so good that after i shoot i can angle my turret cheek into an oncoming shot and it NEVER pens. As long as you dont get caught unaware at a high angle and get an enemy who 1. Has a shell good enough to pen your turret cheeks (pretty much just dm53, m829a2 and the 292s shell), and 2. Is willing to gamble on your cheeks instead of anywhere else like the side of your turret. I dont think ive ever been penned in my seps turret cheek, my friend told me he did it ONCE when an abrams was angled downward, aiming away, and my friend was using the L/55s dm53. It was also on an m1a1.
I would much rather know if Im being lased by CAS than be able to survive my own skill issue in the case i dont see someone in my own field of view.

Next to an increased max cap per 3 days i would also like to have the RP pool back (basiclly how it was at the start when SQV where first added) where we can safe up on Points and then decide where to spend them.
with that we could unlock the vehicles we really want much faster then grinding something we dont want but are forced to.

I mean, I’m the first one to criticise Gaijin’s issues, but in my opinion this is such a nothingburger…
