Well, it all boils down to by how much they end up improving the hull armor.
Gameplay wise, the improved turret armor changes nothing; it goes from withstanding 95% of the shots to withstanding 100% of the shots, so… not much of a change, hahah.

if the hull armour goes to like 520-550 then thats huge but it will probably be 500 max and for the 70 ton weight its debatable weather its worth it

Yep. In order to be actually worth the weight tradeoff and not feel like a copy-paste, the hull will need to be able to withstand at least lower end shells like L27A1, DM43, 3BM46, etc- and even up to DTC-10 (which is underperforming btw), 3BM60, etc, on the fuel tank areas and even middle depending on the range and angle.
Then, THAT will feel like a proper 67 ton 2020s MBT.
But I’m already seeing them making it barely able to withstand 3BM42 and calling it a day…
there gonna make it withstand rounds found at like 10.7 so your looking at L26 3BM42 DM33 etc i garuntee it

i believe 40-50k every 3 days would be better ( that are twice hard than the 20k that we have now of course) if they did that a top tier that cost 550k would take 30 days and thats ok for me
also when someone is bellow 10k just give it for free dont make him wait 3 more days

okay and the game is called War Thunder emphases on the word war. Guess what Inf is part of war . Not only that people have asked for it, and what we are getting is better then Enlisted, plus if you yourself is not a fan you don’t have to play it, but don’t be like it’s a bad idea cause of how it looks now. Remember it is in CBT meaning it will take time for it to improve, thats how testing works.

Trust me, they do not need to take any additional measures to afford developing infantry.
They are not a struggling indie company.

People have asked, and a lot of people have signed up for CBT. The time part doesn’t matter as that is a whole new team hired onto it to deal with INF.

These are 2024 numbers, so even before they started adding more and more Premiums, including the incredibly successful Senrai Maidens;
Net Sales Revenue - ~$151.5 million.
Pre-tax Profit - ~$100 million. Before corporate tax.
After-tax Net Profit: -$93.33M. Extremely high ~61.5% net margin
Proposed Dividends - ~$77–90M. Large payout to the holding company, aka Gaijin Entertainment Holdings Ltd. (100% owner)
So… yeah. Not an indie company, not struggling to fund additional content or modes. They are adding lots of Premiums as to maintain this economy or even improve it, but not out of an absolute or desperate need for it.
Point being, they can develop infantry without having any impact on the vehicular aspect of the game and without requiring “more” than they already earn, so any claims that “infantry detracts resources from the vehicular aspect of the game” or that “they need more Premiums to finance infantry” are… inaccurate, to say the least.
