The funny thing is that, in the same video, he’s arguing that Gaijin should remove all copypasted vehicles, even though that would also eliminate a huge amount of content that, by his own logic, took significant effort for players to “build” but because it’s stuff he’s personally not intrested in its fine if it gets removed.

his advocation for abandoning Naval would mean pretty much the same thing, it would mean everything naval player had in his words “build” would be abandoned, but because its a game mode he’s not intrested in its apparently fine to do so.

The worst thing that came out of it are those new threads with massive block of text noone can be bothered to read by 5147542143 different people that gets insta locked instead of using the one where everyone else already talk.

I haven’t watched it, but just from what’s being said here it sounds like the whole point is “everything I don’t like hurts the game and actually makes them lose money so they should change it”. No way that’s the real argument, right?

I wonder how these even happen. It’s like all those “X vehicle is underperforming” or “Y vehicle is overpowered” topics that come up even though there’s a feature showing people the topic already exists whenever you start writing something.

Why that, of all things? Sunken cost fallacy is a thing, specially if you have invested, for example, over 8,000 hours (4,000 gameplay, 4,000 hangar xD) over a span of 12 years (playing since 2014) and around 2,000 bucks (including Marketplace-earned GJCs, of course, but still about 1,000 actual bucks or so).

They should are at least. Come up with a much better form and implementation of Navel with better modes.

And he has a lot of valid points especially when it comes to bug reporting like at times it’s like an automated response. And they’re bending their own rule’s. it’s like they want you to like classified information what happened to needing two secondary sources and when you give them two secondary sources or even more than two they come up with excuses like oh marketing lies what about relik why is it getting buffed where is the sources for that I can get a video right now showing that relic is not as effective in real life compared to what it is in game, like is that not marketing lies because if that isn’t I don’t know what is !!

I know people are obviously going to have agreements and disagreements over the video that’s their personal opinion but personally he has a lot of valid points. But I’ve had enough experience in playing this game since 2014 I’m back in those days the game was good yeah it had a it’s issues but it was good then it’s time goes on the grind got worse and worse and worse than 2023 happened and it was like a hallelujah moment gaijin were actually listening to their community but now it seems like now things are getting worse again and gaijin needs to sort it out before another uprising happens again and it will be even worse than the last one.

Bug reporting needs a massive overhaul and they need a system in place for weekly community feedback on the game when it comes to dev servers testing new updates they need to overhaul that process like give every player on the dev server access to everything that they improperly test out all the vehicles new mechanics everything new and not update rather than having to grind for it and we need new game modes like in the video I agree with him at that point where you go to your attractive you capture it you hold it you bleed enemy tickets while fairly north the enemies game over how’s that fun we need more exciting game modes we need more that’s why engaging needs to pay more attention to their community what the community wants we need they need weekly feedback they need to learn from their mistakes before this gets worse these copy and paste premiums are not worth it What’s the point People are getting sick all this copy and paste and I agree like why are we getting a copy paste M60 or a puma What’s the point so people can buy their way to top tier. So yes I agree with his video on all the points he pointed out you mind but I do that is my personal opinion you have your own personal opinion !!

in realife most combat shown pieces of relikt is filled with cardboard so with that to go off as real world combat proof of relikt, it shouldnt be effective at all, its the same logic gaijin uses for a bunch of stuff

That would mean removing things like the ITO, which is the exact same vehicle (even with operating nation) in both France and Sweden, which imo is a very good example of C&P being good.

I just think sunken cost fallacy is a bs excuse when it comes to a game. Maybe I’m simple, but it’s just a game. If you enjoy it play it, if you don’t don’t play it.

Everything is a waste of time, since you can’t take anything with you once you die (which I’m still waiting for btw).

I mean if people don’t enjoy it they would just quit. But that’s not really the point.

Even if there was another game in the same niche with slightly better gameplay, people would still be missing certain aspects they enjoy in War Thunder. It becomes a question of “Do I enjoy that gameplay with a start from nothing again more than I enjoy my existing progress here?” question.

that’s a general problem with certain games who rapresent their entire niche genre as major exponent, i agree with ya

I mean honestly I wouldn’t mind some smaller competition. Doesn’t need to be a big break or make War Thunder obsolete, just bring in a bit more motivation for Gaijin to entice players to stay.

It just seems there’s no company actually willing to put in those resources knowing War Thunder can make their efforts useless with some minor changes. Best we have now is entirely different games that some people call War Thunder competitors because they happen to have tanks too.

Have you tried just not to dying? I’ve been doing that myself, and so far I’m 100% successful. As i havent died a single time! Based on my highly scientific data set of one observation, I’ve extrapolated that my chances of ever dying are extremely low./s
