I feel similarly but there’s no harm in adding it
day 1205 of waiting for Polish tech tree
besides taking up modelling time for pylons and probably a new model for the JAGM-F
Good against LDIRCM heli. Laser guided rockets like AGR-20A/B are terrible against heli and I still need to try AGM-65L. Considering how good brimestone are against heli, I expect JAGM-F to also be good against them
It uses BRU-61A so no new pylons. It’s also very similar to regular JAGM visually
Updated thank you
I guess but I wouldnt waste my time on it, if I had the option between 16 Spice-250s and no brimstones or 12 brimstones and 8 Spice-250s ill still take the 16 Spice-250s
I agree with that, it might be terrible for CAS but if someone wants to do solely CAP role, it would be good for them as they no longer need to get close enough to something like MI-28 which has extremely accurate gun
hey TheKnightOfSpitfire, i almost couldnt recognize you with the anime girl pfp
Welp… two full weeks of Dev Server, about to end and close, and M1A2 SEPv3 and Leopard 2RI still don’t have their armor modelled xD
they had to focus on challenger 2 and mig29k nerfs

so uh when is the Su39 going up to 12.0? I mean the ALARM by smins own words cant be lower then 12.0 yet is worse then the Kh-25MPU that sits at 11.3 and you get 4 of them no less
i mean we could ask smin but i garuntee the answer would be “the su39s flight performance is much worse than the tornados so it gets an acception” when the su39 and tornado when it comes to cas the flight model difference means basically nothing
Who below 12.0 carries AGM-88?
Hello @Smin1080p_WT , asking again since I don’t know how much longer we have left for the dev server and I didn’t get a replay when I asked a few days ago:
A recent report regarding the MiG-21 2000’s cockpit accuracy has been denied despite presenting multiple archived sources from IAI, the creators of the IAI MiG-21 2000 modernization program.
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/o6HikRxXJKPu
The developers replied with two images and said it was Not a Bug, citing one image from Elbit systems with a caption claiming a popular image of the cockpit was just a mockup, and another image they claim is the real cockpit:

They did not cite the source of the “real” cockpit image, which is where confusion from myself and others stem from. Another person looked into this, and the image is actually of the Cambodian MiG-21 that was upgraded in line with the MiG-21 2000 modernization program, however these aircraft are not the same as the demonstrator being added ingame.

We have visual imagery directly showing the cockpit was not a mockup, but a integrated and working system installed within the aircraft, as shown in these videos which were provided in the bug report:
Important Frame:
(Video Links are found within the bug report if needed.)
It may have been a mockup at some point, but video and pictorial evidence suggests this was not always the case, and it possibly never even was a mockup to begin with. The image caption is either relating to an earlier image and planned design of an actual mockup, or is outright wrong.
May we know why the developers are using images from a completly different plane, and can we know why the promotional videos and images from the manufacturer of the modernization program aren’t being prioritized? Thanks in advance!
What aircraft have them under 12.0?
Tornado RET8 has 4 at 11.7
Su-39 has KH-31 at 11.3
I think the Su-17 have the weaker seeker version at 11.0
the funny thing is that the Hawk RDA could carry ALARM so would have 4 (2 total less ARMs then the Su39) at the same BR but nope ALARMs are far to strong and must be gate kept at 12.0+
i havent tested them at all but are the alarms even that great?
