and Early Stealth Jets are almost guaranteed to be the next step
we already have stealth implemented into Warthunder and I really don’t see why an Early F-22 with only AiM-120C and AIM-9M, without HMD and with a low total Missile count wouldn’t work at idk 15.0
I think the confusing part is the “-EX” designation. “Advanced Eagle” / “Eagle II” for me I assumed was for simplicity reasons (“Advanced Strike Eagle” too long, eg)

you’re giving me more reason’s to see it as successor to F-15E
I’m beginning to believe the Generals of rhe USAF wanted more Strike eagles and came up with a plan to sell rhem as fighters
I really hope the BRs get a major decompression soon. We’re long overdue for BR decompression in every mode.

Lol, mig29k with 8 fox 3 ?
Know you things before you start talking my guy
I really love my tiger against atgm or a handful of apfsds carrying stuff lol
this complaint i never understood, all the ATGMs at low BRs suck and deserve to be as low as they are lol
yes, but, I don’t think that’s gonna happen
maybe with IIR missiles and Advanced ARH (Meteor) there’ll be some decompression
Destroyed strike eagles are apparently being replaced by F-15EX’s so it’s not really that far fetched

I think it’s the fact that Armoured vehicles which give up pretty much everything to be Armoured suddenly face a BR where everyone and their dog pens their armour from 5000m away
it’s not that way for lower BR Heavies

As if its farfetched to shoot a missile going walking-speed towards you with your rapid fire MG

on a Maus? your turrent ain’t turning fast enough
The irl role is that of an air superiority support fighter yes, but imo that can’t be the only argument.
On one side, the F-15EX has that role irl, and it also gets even more missiles that the F-15C GE, acting as a logical upgrade over it.
On the other hand however, the F-15EX is a direct upgrade of the F-15E, retaining and improving all its strike capabilities. It’s still a bomb truck and can even carry HARMs. In that sense, it would be the upgrade of the F-15E (or RMP if that comes) in the tree. As a matter of fact, it would be the more heavy-duty strike platform of top tier. And putting it under the F-15E would complete the line, while the F-22s can complete the fighter line
replacing all F-15s with F-15EX is what makes most sense in my personal opinion and tbh to me it looks like that’s what they’re trying to do anyways
yes this turns Pure Interceptor squadrons into Multirole squadrons but that’s not a new trend Either

I don’t really play GRB much, but I hope the BR’s for both ground and air vehicles get matched 1:1, in top BR I mean.
I know you can technically take your 14.7 jets down to the top GRB BR (12.7? I think?) but that just brings a host of problems. E.g., 12.7 jets vs 14.7 jets or 12.7 jets versus clearly 14.7 SPAA, etc
The Maus is more of a gimmick tank anyways though. You sacrifice everything for armour that can be penned by most high calibers sideon, which isn’t that hard to achieve because it takes you 20 years to turn to the left. Its easy to track it and destroy its gun. If anything you’re better off using high caliber AP or APDS than an ATGM against it*.
Thing is F-15E got its upgraded version too. EX should 100% go after the C model
Well yeah but personally I don’t think there’s enough additions left to require rank 10 specifically for 5th gens.
Yeah we do but personally I think we should see stealth and RCS reduction on some 4.5 gens first as a test for stealth on an actual fighter platform.
