So that F-15EX would go to F-15C line up instead of E line up, If they add F-15E RMP, it would be rank 9 it would go below F-15E hence increasing the chance of EX going to F-15C line up. Since i still need to grind F-15E, It would be terrible for me if they add F-15EX (the best US jet before 5th gen) in F-15E line up
Also F-15E RMP would bet 14.3 and hence i would still be able to get 13.3 downtiers with it
I mean after the MiG-35 there isnt really anything else and depending on which specific variant of MiG-35 they add its either a 14.0 or 14.3 aircraft. So unless gaijin decides to go full paper and add stuff like the MiG 1.44/42 (which they won’t) the MiG line is pretty much done after the MiG-35 gets added.

It’s a medium range missile*, but the fine print says you have to be at basically Mach 2 to take similar high pK shots as AIM-120A/B at Mach 1.5

Why would a Multirole Strike Fighter derived from the Strike Eagle go to the F-15C line instead of the Strike line?
F-15EX is meant to replace F-15C and not E hence would make more sense in F-15C line up. As for F-22 i don’t think they would be rank 9 even if they add early version of it
EX is the C’s successor. Yes, even when it shares the strike eagle’s body.

While based on F-15E model, F-15EX has a completely different mission profile and is meant to replace F-15C/D models.

I don’t see them making rank 10 just for 5th gens. There’s plenty of room in rank 9 for the 5th gens to cap it off.

The F-15EX is by itself very confusing.
It can do everything that the F-15E can, and then some.
So it’s not weird when people think F-15E → F-15EX. But that’s just not the case.
If there are any doubts; the name’s ’Advanced Eagle’ or Eagle II; not ‘Advanced Strike Eagle’ or ‘Strike Eagle II’
