the 2A7V release and the Strv 122s getting super buffed are the cause of all current MBT balance problems lol. Which is wild since those things happened 2.5 years ago.

i was there, and it reminded me of the time they added M1 abrams when the best counterpart was T-64A lmao
at the end of the day, the 2a7V ended up not being that big of a thing either way as well, since it already is added half crippled
it’s a big deal, nowadays every new top tier tank gets calculated via “how good it is compared to 2a7?”
it has accuracy problems to irl, but those problems only point out how stronger it should be and more how bad the idea of such a jump was
It was that big of a thing lol. You just almost exclusively played Germany at that time so it wasn’t noticable. The fact that they nerfed the 2A7s/122s this hard and they’re still easily the best MBTs at top tier tells enough.

M829A3 and DM73 are never coming to War Thunder until Russia unveils the new 3BM67 with 1 Million pen (Source: random Russian News Blogger) btw all NATO rounds are now being nerfed to do same damage as 3BM60 because the Stinger and Igla’s control surfaces are simila… wait no… I mean… M829A2 and DM53 have are the same size as 3BM60 or somethin so it’s impossible for these shells to have more pen than glorious 3BM60

Can we have new mechanism for namer, since turrets of T tanks are flying high after ammo rack explosion, so why not make bshmaster to behave like last bullet with 180 mm of penetration. It’s big piece of steel, all ammo is in turret, so turret armor is shell casing, bushmster is shell hardened core, while ammo is explosive charge. Snail refuses to give tanks with all ammo in soft turret ammo box so they often useless, if you think namer shouldn’t have more spikes then make special ammo box which will refill just ammo for bushmaster.
Please, without ammo it’s useless.
I hope bombers will have the ability to drop paratroopers, or at least helis. I’m also fond of becoming a truck driver delivering supplies to the front lines.
Thinking whether endurance and satiety should be a thing, ahaha. They can’t be traveling far on foot or from town to town.
If there are trucks, they should be made faster and lighter than armoured carriers, at least on paved roads. And APC shouldn’t be able to fly like the centauro, traverse along different surfaces, and still be as mobile as a bare-bone transport truck or a prime mover on an expressway.

So! The new T-90 and Abrams are not groundbreaking, but they are still sweet news for the Ground Top Tier players who had been starving for MBTs for over two years!
They will also flesh out the lineups further.
I am curious to see if Gaijin has more MBTs in store for us! (Leopard 2RI doesn’t count, 1st g*n “thermals” :P)
