It’s not a matter of winning handily or easily, it’s about matching the performance with other premiums and other aircrafts along the BR range, you don’t just slap a missile on an older jet and call it a 13.0 premium just because it has that fancy new ARH.
In that case the F-4F ICE with AIM-120 qualifies as a 13.3 premium.

unfortunately a lot of people dont share your beliefs which gaijin has to take into account, personally i would prefer a mirage f1 with micas to be in the tech tree myself

And we’re talking what is reasonable for Gaijin. You have to sit in the chairs of a company that knows how to fart out premiums to make money, and Mirage 2000 with MICA is not going to make more money than an F-16 premium because it’s on an older platform. Now if Gaijin made a Rafale premium instead (which won’t happen until like F-35 gets added) then yeah THAT will sell like hotcakes.

In game Mirage 2000 with Mica has a tendency to hurt F-16 rather a lot.
Be it in WVR or BVR.
Correction: they want to make top tier premiums USABLE to the generic player base.
Mirage F1C-200 is now suffering from the issue where it is sitting too high of a BR because of Magic 2s, while being a generally underwhelming plane to use outside of bombing bases.

true hence why we have the most hand holdy top tier premiums in the f14d and su30s
cant wait to see people trying to use this new f16 exclusively in BVR
I wouldn’t even call the F-14D handholding since it is still a slightly more challenging plane to play, but it has a radar that doesn’t eat dirt and can actually scan more than just HDN.

Mirage F.1 can still do well.
Bombing with it is a waste of potential.
Always was even before it’s flight model was fixed.
