Not a very interesting or fitting choice which is all I am saying. If you want a top tier premium for France are you telling me you would refuse any of the better fitting options?

I’m buying it because it’s a dutch F-16 and I’m dutch. I live in a town about 20-30km from Leeuwarden AFB, so I have seen/heard this plane fly over my house for the majority of my life.
The only other fitting options would be a mirage 2k with only IR + SARH at 12.3 or a Mirage F1 with Magic 2 + 2x MICA at 13.3-13.7, both of which would be an easy skip for me.
(And I already have the Rafale for France, so I’m not buying this F-16AM because I need it)

Wanting the Belgian F-16 is fine of course but it is not the best choice even if some will be happy that no unique vehicles is going to be available for purchase exclusively.
We already got a Squadron and event F-16 as well as a tech tree variant.
A skin would have sufficed.

The technique i.e. concept of the anti radiation missile will still be flawed.
We do not have the necessary coordination or range in game.
People can just respawn or kill you while being protected from all damage after spawning.

Mirage IIING for example has the engine of Mirage F.1, wing root extensions, Canards and digital fly by wire and should be compatible with Magic 2.
it would still be no better than a mirage 2000 and im pretty sure gaijin specifically wanted a 13.0-13.7 aircraft for the new premium though so not much except this f16 qualify (especially since they already disqualified having another mirage f1 premium)

Imagine a UAE Mirage 2000 and a UAE Leclerc. Chef’s kiss as far as the tech tree is concerned.
A Mirage 2000 from Greece, Peru, Brasil, Egypt or Qatar would also have been reasonable.
Leclercs will never become a premium as long as its 12.7 (top BR), so unless they decide to add something that could maybe dethrone all Leclerc to 12.3 (impossible since France doesn’t have a Leclerc with APS either) then there’ll not be a suitable prem at the 11.7-12.3 range.
As for the Mirage 2000, Gaijin wants a vehicle that is Rank 8 for a premium and the Mirage 2000 doesn’t seem to fit the requirements.

and if gaijin did as you say they would probably have more people complaining about france not getting a ‘real top tier premium’
Any Mirage 2000 with MICAs is already a no go, Gaijin has made that pretty clear. So that only leaves the early Mirage 2000s or very late Mirage F1s.
Absolutely. The 13.0-13.7 premiums, especially those with ARH missiles, seem to be selling incredibly well.
Why woukd it not be proper?
This would put the Mirage 2000, an airframe that is significantly outdated and old vs all other prems along that range, to fight F-16s, F-15s, Su-27s etc, and the only redeeming quality would be the MICA itself, which is like putting an AIM-120 on an F-4 and calling it a 13.0 premium.
