Welcome to the club then, happens to a lot of vehicles, again the turret basket was going to happen to all tanks it was stated. If you didn’t want it you should’ve fought harder against it.
I knew what would happen and yet people still act as if it’s unfair their vehicles got equal treatment like the Japanese getting upset about the Type 10 and type 90s or the French with the Leclerc. Yes both those vehicles mentioned have plenty of problems but let’s be real people voted to nerf the Leo and Abrams because they saw the fact gaijin mentioned they’d get the nerfs first and with how long it took to go to everyone people just figured they wouldn’t get those changes
there is a difference.
The Type 10 never had good survivability or armour anyway so a turret basket didnt change the fact it has decent mobility and an amazing gun with an amazing reload
The Leclerc was a bit worse off but its in the same boat as the type 10 in a way
The Abrams even with a turret basket is still the 2nd-3rd best tank in the game
The Leopards (122 included) are still the best tanks in the game with them
The Merkavas getting them again wont affect it much because it still has a good gun with a good reload and decent mobility
The Challengers… well they lost there only “advantage” they have bad mobility mid armour a mid gun with a bad rof no meaninful survivability and now they just lost there 1 slight advantage of being able to sometimes shoot back at the enemy
The Ariete doesnt have it yet but thats gonna change nothing.
The T-series tanks have an autoloader module which is less of a nerf than everything else (shock)
im not even against the modules being added i just think if there going to add it to the worst of the worst tanks they should give it something to justify it first or at the same time.
You say it doesn’t effect the Japanese MBTs but that’s not true, it makes them unable to fight back, IF you didn’t die to the round or get ammo racked you could quickly fire back now with the turret disabled you have a longer repair time and can’t fight back like you used to. This applies to all of them.
As for the 122s they lack anti era ammo making them now some of the worst tanks ammo wise for top tier, which imo makes them more balanced and arguably not nearly as valuable as before but that’s my two cents. I personally don’t like the Leos anyways and prefer my T series and my Abrams
i dont play the type 10 enough to have a say but my point was more every tank i just mentioned still has good mobility or firepower or protection or something the challenger now has 0 of those things + a turret basket
Still one of them has an APS the rest are also BMP-T bullies since their armor weirdly works well against them, of which the 2A42 Cannon is getting nerfed so as long as you have missiles and aren’t stuck using only the 2A42 (cough cough BMP-2MD) you’re basically missiles vehicles now.
I just think you undersell the challengers tbh because you play them the most, I do this type of stuff also. But I’m also dumb enough to play multiple nations and waste more money buying premiums to grind through them faster (Milan my beloved.)
idk why the terminator is being mentioned but iron fist is the 1 thing people will try use to say its justified, the challenger 3td and the uparmoured challengers are just walking free kills now compared to everything else
the 11.7 challys are good right now the top tier ones are decent the 3TD is in a bad spot and there all being nerfed with the worst module in the game i wouldnt call it underselling them more just fed up of gaijins bad decisions
I’m stating the fact that APS isn’t so worthless anymore ever since we got a lot more missiles being slung around. Seriously playing any nation that doesn’t have a APS can be actually hell on earth.
As for why the BMPT was mentioned was to prove a fact they you keep saying is worthless. The Chally armor is good, the Challengers have been the best MBTs when dealing with the BMPT swarms given their armor makes them nearly invulnerable as long as you don’t play like a noob. Your armor gives you a lot of wiggle room to work with.
The whole APS mention is silly to call it worthless while ignoring the state of the game to, so either you legitimately don’t think it’s useful at all or you’re ignorant to its benefits
i agree with that statement completely but the bmpt can pen your lower front plate, and therefore after this update can just take out your basket instantly and in all fairness it is getting a nerf
the aps is great but only 4 rounds that can dissapear very quickly can be annoying i mean iron fist literally intercepts artillery and darts so at long range or when arty is dropped your aps doesnt last very long and after that your an 11.7 tank
Okay so you’d be fine with just not having an APS? again you can either admit that you’d rather have the APS or just not have it at all which is it, it’s not gonna change BR regardless that’s not how gaijin would work
it should get the AGM-88, as it had it in the nuke event, however i don’t think its gonna show up on the dev server until the AGM-45 shrike is added on there as well, as it was one of those weapons that show up on the ground via aircraft preview but not available
As for the BMPT this is all 2A42 cannons iirc so all BMPs using that cannon will be nerfed pretty hard more so the MD given it’s the weakest BMP and the only one without a missile launcher
no i mean i love the APS it can give you 4 free lives in a sniper fight but theres a lot of cqc maps where that wont happen
a big nerf to the 2A42s affects other nations aswell and the bmpt will still be a good vehicle. considering its still unkillable hull down which gaijin wont take notice of

Again you continue to downplay the effectiveness of the APS, it’s a major buff regardless and a every nation without a Top tier APS imo isn’t really worth playing on most maps because of Heli spam with FnF which all but one nation gets, I think most helis have like 16x FnF missiles on average too, idr how many the Ah64E has off the top of my head, and now with the new system APS will be even more of a requirement to actually not get clapped immediately
