So don’t call it an F-14D then if it’s literally just an F-14B just with the radar of the F-14D.
At this point give it the F-14B’s radar and rename it F-14B(U) since that’s essentially what it is.

Of course, but that’s still not the point. It was shown on the Russian SU-35, not on anyone elses. It was never shown on the SU-30SM at all. That first picture is a SU-30SM am i wrong?

yes it would be nice if gaijin provided sources for a lot of their changes, they used to for some things but I havent seen them do it in a while apart from bug reported changes

Having it at 13.0 with same weapons ruins the aircraft just so it can’t be 13.3 that another F14 which is worse in almost every other way other then one missile is

which is fundamentally, “we dont see any reason why it couldnt” which is likely due to a lack of information about the any differences in wiring required for the rack
su35 is Russia’s premium fighter jet much like the f15ex is for the USA…they are going to give it every advantage it need except the rwr…if i recall same rwr as the su30sm2 and a 360 degree maw

to be fair at its BR the missiles are kinda the weakest part of the F-14A and B
the last one I remember was the Challenger 3TD engine nerf that cemented it as a worse base Challenger 2, due to complaints we did get told where the information came from and it was during a MOD brief if I remember right

the only plane that has unified wiring and uses systems from the su35 is the su30sm2…the su30sm2 is a 2 seater su35…carries every munition the su35 can…that the only plane that “COULD” have the twin pylons not the su30 sm mkm mkk mk2 or the 27sm
yep it was meant as a 2A7V counterpart when added now its barely an M1A1 counter part they really need to drop its reload if they want it to continue being at 12.0
