okay we need to talk about heli MITL, it is WAAY too powerful right as it is right now (hopefully gets nerfed a ton), you can essentially do this and be impossible to kill unless you’re in a plane

i could definitely blow up your notifications but it’s 8am and i haven’t slept yet so i’ll let kobes deal with it, however i will say the report was closed with “not enough information” saying britain never had tanks to test on when we literally bought T80u in the same year specifically to test kontakt 5 so the answer to the report was just completely wrong, they also said it doesn’t look like L27a1 has anything to counter era which a simple google search of a photo of L27a1 can prove wrong but i’ll let kobes go into details this one isnt my place so goodnight/morning smin

well thats how helos work though

One of the docs is from 1991, before the T-80U was even aquired. The second is from 1992, but its not clear at which point the T-80U was aquired specifically in the timeline and how thay applied to the test.

Again, as the dev response menions, specific information about tests with Kontact 5 are required.

how they work isn’t what matters because irl there is no balance or anything to keep technology in check, this will absolutely RUIN top tier in the form of the Mi-28NM and Z-10ME unless something is done about this, no SAMs will be able to do anything but intercept munitions until they’re out of ammo then die because heli rearming is crazy fast if you have a good crew

Oh btw Smin, since you are already here. Can you answer my question from yesterday?

Its still subject to platforms, ARM types, quantity and also on consideration that everything can change currently.

i mean thats like way to specific needing the exact date of when the T-80s were delivered and seemingly impossible to get when it’s comes to declassified stuff also you know common sense does come into play considering L27A1 went into service 7 years after we acquired the T80s, idk kobes and morvran and all the smart people can handle this one i’m going to bed

@Smin1080p_WT

Are AShMs going to receive guidance improvements this update, seeing the two AI ships teased for the next Nuclear Thunder test?

Hey @Smin1080p_WT
Can you say anything about Swedish anti ship missiles, like rbs04 or rbs15? As there’s a bunch of other anti ship missiles coming this update to other nations.

Would be cool to see as they’re pretty iconic for Lansen and Viggen.

I mean, why not for nulcaer escalation?

The report for DM53 was accepted earlier.
We havent gotten Feedback yet.

I take it cause of the way more provided sources its needs more work?

I sincerely hope for it to receive its mentioned anti era and anti double era capabilities

Sweden isn’t even 2nd to last when it comes to gaijin plans lol keep begging

In this scenario, they are asking for information that is very likely classified and could not be provided; however common sense says that they were purchased for testing, and other information lines up to prove this; but thats somehow still not allowed? So the only information that will prove this factually outside of common sense, and putting 2 and 2 together is illegal, but required…

The dart is clearly designed for anti-era, thats clear by looking at it. There is evidence to back this up. Britain clearly had access to T80U’s for testing before the development of the dart, as any google search would result in telling us, but despite how glaringly obvious that is, and the proof provided; its not enough and now we are being asked to provide testing results of it, which again are likely classified, when common sense could solve this with the already provided information…

Im very much aware of the report because im the one that passed it.

Until we have a response from the devs, there isnt any feedback to share.

Unfortunately both reports that make claims predate the purchase of the tank. One for sure does (1991) and the second midway through 1992 seems to predate the arrival of the tank.

So unfortunately it doesnt line up.

The part thats under question is the Kontact-5 spesific part of the report. This nose design serves to reduce projectile ricochet and was used, in particular, on the L26 too.

This tip is only about 4 cm long. It will be destroyed upon penetration during the 17mm armor penetration process, before the ERA (explosive reactive armor) activates and the projectile begins moving.

Previous shells already have this style of tip. Its not a unique feature of L27 and also not clear how this is unique for Kontact-5. Hence why more information is needed.
