If its just the renders / graphics of the F-16 racks, then we already have these unfortunately. The developers are open to considering the rack once any evidence of it actually going beyond a proposal for potential customers can be located.

ASMs and cold war ships its looking peak im curious where those ships will be in the tree considering cold war era ships normally dont have a lot of armour so they will fit a very odd role in warthunder

Yep, an insult. That’s exactly how I describe it as well. It’s been requested for long, and is very iconic, and now they’re adding it as a premium and ruining the entire uniqueness of the plane. Literally nothing’s right about this addition.

surely there will be a tech tree f14d right? surely gaijin hasnt stooped this low. as we all know a game studio this seasoned wouldnt do something as braindead as that right?
as far as gaijin cares the tech tree variant is the f14B as they have the same weaponry in game

no. The F-14D never equipped the AIM-120 physically, that was an F-14A+ testbed historically.
In game it will just be an F-14B with a better radar. Only AIM-9L, AIM-7M and AIM-54.

no, it never carried, test fired nor could physically operate aim120s. it has essentially what is a f15e radar, other avionic upgrades, and better cas

no this is kinda the normal gaijin playbook, its no lower than normal and its still significantly above a lot of their competitors so they get away with it
