Major Update "Firebirds" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

Fair but im going to be honestly I really want to see Royal Oak at some point, its my favourite ship ever made and it keeps on theme of gaijin giving the Uk sunken ships

Plus Russia can get a revenge class too so its a win win for gaijin

F-22 is the best low speed dogfighter in existence right now, so if anyone gets slow its over, it entirely depends on the fight, if you overuse TVC then yes a Eurofighter or Rafale can abuse energy or rate-fighting. But if both are at near-stall speeds, the nose authority cannot be rivalled without TVC.

It is better but it’s not really relevant when you’d have eaten the AIM-120D from 3 x ASRAAM’s engagement range. Even a fully specced Tranche 5 Eurofighter is fighting a half-blind war.

Eurofighter aimed to perfect the 4th generation air superiority fighter, F-22 aimed to revolutionise it.
Such concepts have a cost though, the Eurofighter programme costed an ~35billion dollars, the F-22 programme costed ~70billion… Hence why Eurofighter is not an F-22 contemporary they just both fill the same primary role very well.

Being that ahead of the curve is why its still the prime air superiority fighter now, followed by others like Eurofighter and Rafale.

I would like to see the modernised R and QE classes as soon as possible, with the way its going by the time we get them KGV 1938 would actually be more suitable.

She is a beauty, but I have to disagree on 1 thing. The most beautiful ship(s) in the world were the Olympic class (Olympic, Titanic and Britannic)

Bruh, why are people voting to release the update without the literal main whole point of the update?

And why are people constantly questioning and pinging Smin about the schedules, specially now that he repeatedly stated that he was going on vacation for some days?

I’ve seen him state already NUMEROUS times that no plans have been changed and that the December update is still coming.

Just because they take a few more days to polish Ray Tracing it doesn’t mean the update will be delayed to December, nor that the December update won’t be coming ,nor that any special measures need to be taken…

Pretty sure that the F-15E configuration we are getting would be using the AN/ZSW-1 Improved Datalink (IDL) at this point, though did retain backwards compatibility with the AN/AXQ-14 pod.

she do be leeking less and less stuff yea , probably because everybody else arround her steped-up there game

like before there was pretty much only her (and to some extent Gszabi’s ghitub about leaked assets) , now you have Yukari-33 and dontreadthisleak that joined in

I dont get why we should be so deferential to gaijin when they treat the community like they do tbh.

SE PESA is not really modelled in game

I say Su-57. Its aerodynamics and TVC are exceptional in WVR even for F-22.

Does not change the fact that it is the first PESA on a aircraft.

I mean you can say that but looking at its current state in game it has nothing what would make it PESA. P sure its modelled as regular pulse radar in game

Is it just me or the Su57 is actually quite small.

Kinda like Tor’s situation, AESA sure but it isn’t really that game changing.

Most players care only about new vehicles and have some old potato pc. They rather buy new premium packs than buy a decent pc. It’s pathetic.

Tor is PESA, not AESA. The only AESA we have in game (as the update is not here yet) is HARD on ASRAD-R.

Good size comparison

I thought Tor is AESA lol. Did China not get an improved 9K331 fire control. I see in game it is indeed PESA 9K330.

So Su27s are just huge. Su57 is quite flat though, like a pan caked Su27.

looks about right.

So not being able to run RTX is considered as having potato PC now? Wow how times have changed
