No need for that. Viggen’s engine was never meant for high altitudes which is why its exceptionally fast at low and mid altitudes.
Afaik its supposed to be able to go mach 2 no? Its been a long time since ive done any research into to it
It should be able to, ive seen it on 2 separate documents stating it had the ability to Mach 2 but i dont see anyone else mention it. I assume it could be false but i just dont see anyone mention if it could or not.
It was a scanned book going over swedish aircraft from 36-98 iirc
I’ve never looked into max speed as it was never truly measured anyway (Viggen would ran out of fuel before hitting max speed). Acceleration and low-mid altitude speed is what matters to me.
F-22s for Britain because they are stationed at RAF Lakenheath?
/S
Wouldn’t even be suprised tbh if they were added to britain. Im more suprised they didn’t cry enough to get the F117 after all that whining about it. So many people marked as ignored for months to avoid seeing people argue about it. (Leo 2a4m all over again sigh)
I dont think so thats about how fast the JA37s will go before the engine burns out
CF-18 let’s UK get f18 they want, future Australian f-18 let’s the US get an asraam platform. Also CF-18 more different from US F-18 than Australian one (except for weapons)
No we have our own jets
Isn’t J10 the first? Or do u mean carrier based?
I can only get the JA37D to mach 1.88
Depends the compressor normally gives way and stalls out at higher altitudes. Which is why they dont go high, again id have to sift through stuff to find different documents and see what they all say speed wise.
JA37D:
I could prob go a bit faster if I tried but this is the realistic achievable in-game max speed
Then it seems to match the chart as the AJ uses a weaker engine.
I’m testing AJ37 rn will see how it goes
Is that max alt?
Nah, i’ve been to like 60-70k ft in WT
Depends, not everything can be accurate but id like to correctly get the vehicle to have its mach 1.85 at 11km alt
