Major Update "Firebirds" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

Itll end up a premuim or squadron vehicle since all of Scandanavia is

I always wondered why people dont grind all lines, its like people skipping spaa in ground and then complaining they cant have access to spaa

Have all lines=access to all content added

I’ve been playing the German F-104G recently, it is depressing. It’s objectively worse than other 11.0 planes, and 10.7/11.0 is a blackhole for uptiers to 11.7.

It also has an awful stock grind of only 2 Aim-9Es, and the 9Js are locked behind about 60-70k rp. Meanwhile the Mig-21Bis has better acceleration, better stock grind (2 stock R-60MKs), better missiles, and doesn’t bleed speed as much during high speed turns.

If Romania, Indian, and Australian vehicles can be added to the TT then we can get a Danish F 35 between the J32 and the AJ37

I did the 104G before ARHMs and I thoroughly enjoyed it it must be rough now with new conpression and decompression

We can only pray Gaijin sees it that way

Remind me of the J35D at 10.7 for years then when the all aspect slingers and PD slingers were added it had nothing going for it. Wasnt fast and turning only helps if you can close the Gap. Honestly im happy i skipped the F104J on germany. The Mig 23BN was joy to me as a dogfighter before they nerfed the FM. Regardless the Bis Sau is still fun thoigh not what it once was on germany.

Just gotta get past the 104 and the TT gets a lot better depending on the BR

Glad I bought the F-20 just a few days ago, XD

The Flanker series is known for their low-speed high AOA performance, yet in game if you get a Flanker to fly slow and point their nose around they instantly fall out of the sky.

Most FMs in War Thunder only “adhere” to turn rate graphs but the way the aircraft match their graphs is incorrect. For example, the AL-31s produce too much thrust and Gaijin had to compensate by adding much more wing/fuselage drag, and that’s the reason why the Flankers suck so much at retaining energy.

So yes, how new aircraft will perform in terms of flight performance is completely up to Gaijin’s interpretation.

Im hoping, they just gave sweden the JA37Di so ive got my fingers crossed my home nations jet is a TT addition. Knowing gaijin they’ll probably just add Denmark to Germany since they keep asking for it just for the F16AM.

sad Danish noises

Im currently Grinding entire Chinese tree and on Air section my goal is to reach J10 and JH7A, so tell me why should i grind Flankers when i can access to what i want?

Better yet not everyone has enough time to grind entire lines so saying people should grind all the lines is kinda cruel.

I wonder id Gaijin wants to risk a war with the gods in Asgard…

I bought J7D yesterday and Al-Khalid couple days ago.

Iırc F-20 wasnt on discount so im hoping it will be soon so i can buy one of my favourite jet just for collection and to play from time to time :D

I mean why not, they didnt bother to even put a slight amount of effort into the finnish tree so…

Nice.

F-20 was on a 50% discount when I bought it a few days ago, not sure if it still is. But yeah, on PC you’re out of luck with that.

The entire Chinese air tree line makes little sense. J-10A should not be in the left line, instead they should split the line when you reach the J-11 and J-10A should be in a new line, and J-11A should be foldered with J-11. This would represent Chengdu aviation corp (With the J-10) and Shenyang aviation corp (with the Chinese Flankers).

You make a good point

Was it on discount on consoles? Cause im pretty sure it wasnt on PC during those days.

Personally it also feels weird to me, right now they are adding Taiwan Mirage20005F right after J-10 which doesnt make any sense in anyway but it is what it is i guess.

At least on Xbox (not sure about playstation), but I didn’t see it on PC at that moment
