Well the stingray is interesting and so are ifvs with atgms which japan does have one that is native. I agree the main issue is most of the thai tanks will not be given to japan. Or at least I dont see them because you will likely not see a chinese mbt with thailand if it is given to japan. And a t84 likely not seen in a thaliand tree… The american v-100 and v-150 might be interesting.
But the main issue is air and lack of spaa systems, Most of the tanks that could be added from thailand to japan lack of top tier are not great in terms of what a type 10 can do , We functional need a good spaa system maybe more capable ifvs and wheeled or track. And some more helicopters to japan which I think thaliand might actually help there.
No, but otherwise, they have to, say before flight, they have to write a program in to the HARM amuntion to say: frequency = K, signature = xxx to guide it for Pantsir, with this thing, they can just lock and launch, which essentially is writing the program but to the specific radar detected and write in the program in the air.
SD10 was never called ‘PL12’ cause no one, including Gaijing can prove they are same missile. ‘According to official specifications, the PL-12 has a range of between 44 and 62 miles, reduced to 37-44 miles for the export-configured SD-10.’ I am trying to find the source to this, but somewhere they did state a clear range reduction between PL12 and SD10. I think this range measurement is not the max range present in game.
Oh yeah, just to note, in this year’s air show, the fact that SD10 is different to PL12 is even more cemented as PL12AE appeared, so PL12 actually has its own export variant.
I was saying they should give all Chinese jets now ‘SD10’ so that later they can actually add PL12 without nerf, meaning it works a little better without having to create a massive gap. Anyway, misunderstanding solved.
