I have seen so much copy&paste in this game. Leopards 2 are now almost in any tree. Now a new copy&paste air defense is being added.
But it was not possible to add an F-5E Tiger II Swiss Air Force to the german tech tree - disappointing

So what do we reckon yall update tomorrow Tuesday or Friday?
I think tuesday
Either Tuesday or Thursday
That’s just my guess though, could be wrong
id say Tuesday, if they can sort out ray tracing by then.
J8F at same BR, if u add irccm it would mean higher BR, such as JF17 which is more manoeuvrable but slower. (just to clarify, Tornado is overtied)
F4F KWS is 13.0 next update. AV-8B already is 13.0.
Oh, did they say ICE is 13.0, didn’t realise, AV8 is just not as competent cause it is subsonic after all. How many AMRAAMs does the 37 carry? J8F’s BR is here because 1. it is a gen 3 (RU) after all, like ICE, and 2.it has 2 PL12s. The radar of Ja37 is good though.
AV8B’s being subsonic hinders it far less than the F4F KWS or the Tornado F3 having awful FMs hinders them. The JA37 isn’t much better FM wise but lacks crucial avionics
What RWR, and how many AMRAAMs, cause I do know how AV8s are devastating at down tiers raining down AMRAAMs at premium spammers, but what about Ja37, what standard is the RWR? Omnidirectional right?
it doesn’t even have the capability to guide them outside of their pitbull range…it has 0 DL channels
its missing a lot but some just arent things in game
which doesnt really matter when we’re talking about how good it’ll be in WT
I mean, it is ok, cause not really reliable to lob even AIM120 beyond 16km anyway, but anyhow, that does suck a bit.
And also, does any one know how many AMRAAMs JA37 will be able to carry and what is specs for the RWR?
well it depends bc its flight model is underperforming and ive got the evidence for it
its rwr should be better but it requires an ecm pod which isnt in game tho that hasnt stopped the Su-34
It should have some datalink
and its radar should be further reaching
Flight model I think they have talked about, what about radar and data link, any source?
Radar ive got a passed bug report on, fairely recent so dont be too hopeful
Datalink is hard to tell but most sources seem to say that a viggen can guide another viggens skyflash which isnt the same as in game but it is fairly advanced in DL for the time
The overall datalink goes a lot into the hunterlink but specifies that datalink and hunterlink are separate so there is more to it just i cant prove much more than that
Just to list couple things about JA37Di:
Flight performance is far from great.
RWR is analog without IFF.

this part is weird in game but also not factual as to the irl
I say weird in game bc my tws tracks over 50km but they dont show on the radar itself
i think it should have iff but i have not looked to far into app 73 yet
“The fighter version of the JA37 was originally judged to have no great need
radar warning for the hunting role. Through L37 provision, however, one such was ordered, primarily
for the aircraft’s attack role, a modified App 27; App 73, though with only 4
antennas and frequency range limited to current hunting radar frequencies.
However, the receiver was supplemented with a CW receiver based on chopped HF
signal. Incoming signal was analyzed and classified as LPD, HPD, MPD
or CW. Signal type was presented on the display and in the driver’s headphones with
synthetic sounds (CW gave rise to ambulance sounds).
During the life of the aircraft, however, the realization of the very good performance of
possible hostile flight with long-range fighter robot why requirements were made
improved MPD/HPD and also improved CW sensitivity. In addition, emerged
air staff requests for all-round equipment (4π detectors), which
led to a lot of study work but which was ultimately assessed financially
unrealistic, which is why the requirement was removed.
Project to produce an improved warning device, App73M, was initiated but
funds were not available for a serial order. In its place came the U95 warning receiver
sometimes to be used as a complement to the radar warning.”
