I still don’t understand why they decided to add in the F-117. It was always going to be completely useless both in AB and GB. We expecting an AC-130 next patch as well? At least that gets flares and Chaff. No idea about RWR’s though. They should go full CoD and make them killstreaks like the strike drones and Tactical Nukes.
Not everything has to be META. I’m here to fly as many different cool aircraft as possible.

Did I say “meta” at any point in that sentence? No I said USELESS. COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY USELESS. Can’t take even one base in AB and can only kill 2 people in GB. To make matters worse it has no defencive capability other than its stealth which gets removed when you open your bomb doors to attack a target. I guess the only silver lining for it is the fact that Storm Shadow can be added to the game at some point.

It is a problem when you consider other vehicles of the BR with IRCCM missiles, better radars or similar flight performance such as F-4F KWS-LV or AV-8B+, not to mention high performance 4th gen airframes like F-15J, MiG-29G, JAS39A and so on.
There’s a reason it’s a squadron vehicle, not a tech tree vehicle, and one for testing for future stealth additions.

They could’ve easily just kept it as an “in house” vehicle that they don’t need to release to the public. And even then if they were to release it I genuinely believe that a kill streak would be the only reasonable way for it to be useful. Like the aforementioned strike drones.
Keeping it “in house” is not a valid testing format, since it would be in a very controlled environment, whereas allowing the vehicle to be flown by anyone in the wild allows for actual proper real world testing of the stealth properties for further refinements. And as other users have mentioned, people want it for the cool factor, not necessarily have to be useful in any form. Besides, for GRB’s BR it will be fine since it won’t be facing a lot of radar’d SAMs and it has resistance to IR signatures too.
