He means that the name of the mod is a c&p from the Jag.
1B was not a thing that introduced TIALD to tornado. It should just have TIALD as mod, just like Gr.7.
This is the module on the Tornado GR.1 currently. Which is what I was referring too. Nothing else.

Im not referring to its IRL implications. Im talking about (and was talking about in my previous post he quoted) about how such modifications are handled in game.

Yes, I know. But strictly speaking it’s wrong…think there is a 2 year old bug report to get that fixed.
Whilst I have no issues with the idea of adding minor variant changes via the modification,.like the Jag Gr1A becoming the Gr1B but the tornado isn’t strictly speaking an example of it. (All I was correcting)
Especially with the tornado Gr1B mod is hoped for to add sea eagles to the tornado Gr1. Could cause extra confusion…
Though if a variant is added via that. Then all of its mods should be up for grab, like jaguar Gr1Bs upgraded RWR.
Separate issue and not what I was referring too. In this case, the GR.1B mod provides the necessary fits and upgrades required for TIALD operations. In the same way “ASSTA 3.0 LJDAM” will provide LJDAM capacity.
As with all other cases, weaponry and other such mods are subject to the developers discretion. The mod states what it provides. However a modification on an existing aircraft to provide it with something is not a flat rule out of any future separate vehicles.

so rather then a 20-30k rp mod you would rather have a 400k+ rp grind for a new plane, a whole new stock grind at a higher br, for LJDAMs and 9L/is

but all those have more differences over their previous versions than the ASSTA 3.0 does
or rather the stuff the 3.0 can have that would set it apart from what the 1.0 could get is only visual stuff like a new cockpit for the Copilot and taurus which we will not see in game as the removal of Grom 1 has proven
remember remember, the ASSTA 1s can carry 9Li-1 and all other weapons besides taurus that a 3.0 could add
How is it proven wrong? It claims to be a list of possible developments into the future, several items from the list did get added, the only thing that seems to be a point of contention is the ASEAN tree going to China which Yukari33 questioned because his source didn’t corroborate it.

That’s news to me. My understanding was that they published the “long term” list above and then later posted the list leaking Firebirds, I wasn’t aware that the lists were mutually exclusive
